There is one good thing about the cold weather...your beer stays just as cold as when you first opened it.
Toph,
I had the pleasure of meeting your parents after the game Saturday.  Very nice people.    (Now I understand the name "Toph".  I never could figure that out).

the line in vegas has mount union laying 23 points, does anyone else think that is wayyyyyyyyyyyy to many?

It might be a FEW points too many.  I have too much respect for UWW after what they did to UMHB twice.  But Mount is still my favorite by at least 14.

WWW hasn't seen anything like the speed of this Raider offensive unit .Nothing even close.I do expect WWW to move the ball and score but not outscore this offense.H.S. Coach....much advantage to the Raider coaching staff or is that overrated?

Chris Berman just made Trinity's 15-lateral play the 4th best play of the year.

we'll be ready and set up as well, welcome to drop by too. We'll be looking for those famous brownies!  ;D

Thank goodness that Salem went ahead and got the turf in this year with the weather forecast as such, should still make for a terrific game!

Maybe a point or two high.  I'd say somewhere between 19 and 22.
This is no insult to UWW.  I think the Warhawks are far and away the No. 2 team in the country.  If anybody has a chance to beat Mount Union, it's Whitewater.  I said a chance.  I have a chance to win tomorrow's lottery (though I like WW's odds better than mine).

I know this is obvious to some, but I'll say it again for those who haven't noticed.
Whitewater's defense is most likely the best defense Mount Union has seen all year.  The guys up front are big and move well.  Their linebackers are as good as they get in D3.  Their secondary is top notch.  They have a lot of experienced players.
I'd like to hear from anybody from Capital who can tell us how the two defenses compare.
Thanks, Pat, for talking to coach Collins and putting together the great front page piece Scouting the Stagg.
You hit all the highlights on the matchup.  :)

No problem. We were on the same wavelength there, I guess.

Suit!  Word is you are a "wannabe"?  You are one of the "new blood" of suits?

Bring the men over to the tailgate this Saturday.  Anyone that can wear a purple suit, be in college (I am assuming you made it through another semester), and can do push-ups after Mount scores is "ok" with me.   ;D
you heard wrong, you are talking to the original here. we are coming into salem early friday evening...where is everyone staying, we are at the holiday inn tanglewood with the team

I will plan on that!!  Hope the bad weather doesn't make it over the mountains!!  Chris Berman makes it the 4th best.  I make him about the 10th best analyst, but . . . it's a d3 thing!
