I see that he looks fast, however, the line opened holes that Ric could have run through.

Now that's funny

Just a heads up:
I don't know if anyone has noticed, but the Colts are playing in this years Hall of Fame game in Canton.  Pretty cool that Pierre will be playing in his first professional game right down 62 from Mount

eventhough he was drafted...alot can happen between now and then.  I'm going to keep my fingers crossed for him.  He seems to be in a good situation..

a lot of money (around $40 million i heard today) is owed to an aging Marvin Harrison, and with his potential legal issues surrounding his cop killing gun, could mean one more roster spot open. What on earth was he doing with a gun that is designed to penetrate several layers of kevlar?

Seeing that he is a 6th round draft pick and that is the first pre-season game, I am fairly confident that he will be wearing a Colts uniform in Canton that evening.  I don't see him getting cut prior to then and am pretty sure he won't be a camp holdout...

While Marvin Harrison has some serious questions to answer, his gun was not the one used to shoot the cop in Philly.  The cop was shot with an assault rifle during a bank robbery.

Ric is actually a speed guy and was used to run wide.At times he could be effective inside bursting from the tangle of big lineman. His "forte" was the quick sprint around the end.He left many a DE and OLB grasping at air.He wore 22,and was nicknamed  "Little Big Man."

no it wasn't. the gun which Harrison owns is often referred to as a "cop killer", i wasnt trying to imply that Harrisons gun was used to kill a cop, sorry if that was vague, i will be crystal in future posts. anyway, the bottom line is that Harrison wasnt bright enough to leave the Philly slums or those associated with them, and now has several serious questions to answer, including what hes doing at 35 getting into fist fights, and putting his NFL career in jeopardy...

No big deal, I just wanted to be sure that two crimes weren't getting confused with each other.

kiras,

I'm thinking the same....but you never know what could happen.  I don't even want to talk about what I was referring to.  I don't want to bring the kid bad luck.

Congrats to Jim Ballard on the National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame selection ...

Kira & Jaxon's Dad

Wow, cool for Ballard.  Here is the news release:

Jim Ballard
National Champions - 13: 1993, 1996, 1997, 1998, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2012, 2015, 2017

If Jim Ballard is worthy of such an honor....and he IS.....then how long before Bill Borcherts name is added to the list of nominees? Finally, some well deserved recognition for the program and one of its leaders.  Evidently you dont have to be dead to get into the College Hall of Fame since John Cooper is going to be inducted. So the Question is.....How long till LK gets his name submitted for the honor? And just who IS permitted to submit nominations anyways?

WAY TO GO JIM BALLARD! ;D

JK

Nice honor.  I think Ballard will be the first of many MUC players to recieve this honor.  Borchert is a near shoo in, as are Moore and Pugh.  If Kmic keeps it up, he might be there one day too.

Maybe us Cap guys can push for the NFF to waive the 10 year rule for Rocky.  He played in college for 10 years anyway!  ;D

gordonmann

Yep, congrats to Ballard and the rest of the Mount Union gang.

We'll post something on the site later on.
