Just finished looking over the new Media Guide and couldn't help noticing that Terrence Morring (sp?) is nowhere to be found. Anyone have any info on this?

I'd see that as an indication that he's not playing this fall.  Maybe his many summertime activities have created a reason for him not to be on the team any more.  Could it have something to do with his run in with the APD?  Maybe he tripped and fell down the stairs?

I'm sure more info will come out about this when it is appropriate.

Veteran linebacker Joe Spitzfix took a dump after breakfast this morning and cleaned himself with his left hand.

HOF Game:
During 1st half, John Madden said Tony Dungy told him Pierre Garcon was the biggest surprise of training camp.  Madden also said he thought Garcon was going to make it because of his versatility.  I hope that prediction doesn't jinx Pierre's chances!

WTF Frank?  If you don't enjoy the conversation on the OAC board then don't come here to read it.  Keep you asinine comments to yourself.

Morring isn't listed in the media guide due to a season ending knee injury.  He's expected back in '09.

And to think he's in the posting hall of fame!  His antiquated statistics and stories have never really been anything for me.  And this post is just absurd.

I know its just the first preseason game, but P looked pretty good out there tonight.  that was a nice little KR towards the end of the game too.

The game was pretty well attended by Mount fans. I did see some of the Mount coaching staff. I was impressed by the amount of time Pierre got tonight. I realize it's a throw away game and you want to see your draft picks but still he got more rep's than the average "long shot small college kid."

Just watched enough of the TV coverage to hear the remark about Garcon being the biggest surprise in camp.

On the other side of the coin, he better learn how to block in a hurry. It was the only time he looked out of place.

Best of luck Pierre, I hope you get a td soon so you can show the NFL your endzone "Style."

PS Nice return

Watching on TV I couldn't see PG on every play, but I did see him pancake a guy on a sweep.  I hope all his playing time was a good sign. Thought he had a pretty good game for his first pro appearence.

Not sure if I was watching a different game or not but i thought Garcon's strength was his blocking last night, other than the first couple plays he was very physical and went until the whistle.

I agree.

Also saw him on the bottom of the pile on kick-off coverage.  He looked good catching the ball too.  I don't remember any balls that were incomplete because he dropped them.

I know it's only the 1st pre-season game, but at least he didn't piss down his leg against the big boys.  It's a good first step.

HOF Game Yadda Yadda. Pierre looks good regardless. He could have easily benn in there timid and not ready, but his first play in the game he made a nice diving catch. Overall, he looked great.

When Madden gave his seal of approval for P to make the team I groaned out loud... we don't need Madden on our side!

Garcon looked really good last night.....Lorenzen however looks like a D3 offensive lineman.  Good Lord mix in some veggies.
