I can take the heat! 
I am  aware of their history for being a middle of the road team. That being said, I will not be the type to live and breathe Otterbein so much that it would piss anyone off on here. I am a parent of a freshman student and learning the ropes as I go, making sure not to give myself enough rope to hang myself with LOL

I haven't been able to get much info on this year's team so I don't really know what is going on. It seems to be on the down low but I am excited to go to my first college football game and enjoy a few games when I can make it! Thank you all for welcoming me!

JK....funny you should mention that.  I was talking to Skunk today and telling him that if Mount happens to get a big lead on Fisher he could leave at half-time and catch my son's and my first game.  We open this Saturday at 2:45. 

Skunk basically said..."what are you talking about..Mount doesn't start until the 6th?"  I guess I am just used to the opening game being on Labor Day weekend, and then there being a break the next week. 

HSCoach........do you have a spread on my youth football game?   
We are playing one of the other North Canton teams who basically runs smash mouth (Auggie type) football.  We, on the other hand, are running the spread (provided our center doesn't snap it over the QB's head...which he CURRENTLY does about 1 out of 5 times). 

Also.....what's your spread on the OSU/YSU game?  Tressel doesn't like to beat his former team up TOO much.......28 points?

In general, Otterbein has been one of the more offensively talented teams in the OAC over the years.  What has killed them is an average defense.  This year will probably be the same.

I missed your original post but laughed when I saw it quoted. Based on what you described from both teams, it is your squad that is running the Augie offense.  They've installed the spread offense and gone away from the wing t and have been a big topic of discussion for the 2008 season.

Probably, I think they know my daughter's name, but most MS kids in FL don't know what D3 Football is.  LOL
