Are we really positive Kehres isn't logging on to find out hscoach's spreads before the games?

Gotta love "Open-Mike Night" during the radio broadcast of the MUC-SJF game.

Fortunately our brethren didn't say anything more colorful than rooting for point spreads!   ::)

Raiders looked sharp today. I was very impressed with the Purple offensive and defensive lines. Very tough and physical. Did the rules on pass interference change? Mount had 4 or 5 called on them. Seriously,I saw three today that were jaw droppers. The defense was very good except for those calls. What was that?

Mt's O line was awesome today and the defense was even better.  Fisher has a solid team but a tad slow on D.  Run Nate Run and so he did.   Cecil will be the next Garcon but not as big.  Micheli had a good outing for the first game.  Another game of gaud awful officiating.   Where do they get these guys?  Only area that needs a little work is the kicking game.  That should be improved when de Bears come to town.  All in all a very solid game for both teams.   Congrats to the other OAC teams as they seem to be winning most of their games out side of conference.

Yeah, I kept wondering if they knew we could hear everything they said.  Maybe they'll tell us.

Anybody know where the officials came from?  They could've been a game breaker in a closer score game.

and Cecil is faster, might be a little scary for the rest of the OAC

The officials must have come from the Empire 8 or a third world country...some terrible calls.

I noticed SJF had a baseball bat on the sidelines...were they confused? Or were they going to use it to bang on a drum instead of swiping a drumstick?

Micheli, Kmic and Shorts...triple your fun.

If Nate had gone over 200 yards, they probably intended to go Nancy Kerrigan on him.

He now has a grand total of 801 yards in three games against SJF.

Can't add much to what has already been said.  The offense was impressive and the D line was very good.  The Raiders are much furthur along than I thought they would be in this first game.  Shorts was very impressive and Kmic was, well, Kmic!  Great start for the Purple and White.  :D

Did you see the Heidelberg score?  The Principality must be flying high tonight!
12-0 = 13

Was Tanya Harding holding that baseball bat?  ;D

Yes, we knew the mic was always live.  Which is why there was so much silence during the commercial breaks.  We're usually very opinionated during the breaks, but can't be now.

At least we didn't actually say the word "spread" when talking about the scores.....
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

Hate to tell you this, but there wasn't much silence at all.  We heard a lot of direction to other radio staff members, adjustments that had to be made with commercials because of the new clock, and two guys who were trying to remember who they picked for specific games.  [I'll have to check the recording for the word "spread"  ;)
