Be sure to check out the D3 photo gallery of the game.

One thing for sure, where else but D3 will you find two ranked teams kneeling together at games end. Says a lot about the teams, the coaches and the colleges.

It does say a lot but it's not the only place I've seen a joint postgame.

Kirasdad:  Just try to remember: Hiram is in First place in the NCAC. If that doesn't bring a smile to your face, take a Valium. ::)

In the games where Kmic failed to gain 100 yards or more, how soon was he jerked by LK because the rout was already on? Remember all those early exits last year? If he played the whole game and was still under 100, then the D was stout and should be proud. If he had 3 TDs but only 50 yards because of field position and and early curtain call....well, thats different! Early exits are a relative stat too. He may even lead the nation in that category also.  Any team that stopped Kmic all game long has my admiration. If LK had no mercy last year...then Kmic wuold have been the Gagliardi winner. IMHO. As long as Kmic kicks no puppies....hes got a good shot this year. So does Micheli.

Good thing they don't face Hiram! ;D

(Though at 2-0, the 'puppy' jokes have greatly diminished.)

Bailiff comes out and calls seven names.  Guess who was called #7?

Now I have to throw sub plans together for the next three days.  :(

That's what you get for looking like a school teacher. I think I'll break out my old Harley stuff for tomorrow.

Or if you just dressed like the picture Mr Mom has on his post.  Pretty sure you'd be sitting pretty (literally).

I cannot verify the accuracy of this statement, but I had an instructor when I was an ROTC Cadet who claims he got out of Jury duty by telling the attorney that he killed people for a living.  After nearly choking on his coffee, the attorney asked him "excuse me?"  "Well sir, I'm in the Army," my instructor claimed he said, "and my job is to protect this country.  Best way I know of doin that is to kill the sonsabitches who would threaten us."  Supposedly the attorney replied "That is certainly an interesting way of looking at it, I have no more questions."

Never understood later why he reported for jury duty anyway.  Best fo my knowledge, active duty personnel are automatically excused.

Anyway, visited Alliance this past weekend, saw the family.  Didn't go to the MUC game on Sat night, unfortunately seeing the family was priority, and the opportunities to get in from El Paso are rare.  It is amazing all the building they have done around campus.

Didn't catch my crusaders this weekend either, though by all accounts they looked pretty good.  It's really amazing how well Hallett has the Berg playing so soon in his tenure.  They could be very dangerous very soon, if they aren't already...

Did see VK's wife and son at the playground at Rockhill school on Saturday morning.  Probably haven't seen her since I graduated from Cap (she spent her first three years in college at Cap).  His son and mine played for about an hour- mostly my 2 year old chasing his 3 year old around trying to do the same stuff the older boy was doing.  I know I was an a$$ with my comments last year after the Stagg Bowl in regards to VK, but he's got a great wife and a beautiful son, he's doing what he loves and doing it well.  I really do wish him the best, especially since there will soon be another member of that family :)

I know most of you guys know that Jim Collins and LK got pretty close over the years.  I'm not sure if you know that apparently Jim did some "feeling out" to see if Vince would have liked to move up with him and been his DC at Saginaw Valley State.  His wife said he didn't think about it for long before he turned him down.  Said his heart was at MUC.  Very loyal, nice trait to have in a man...

I don't care in what context that statement is used, but it just doesn't sound right.

Wouldn't that be somekind of NCAA violation?  If not, it should be......
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Isn't that stuff illegal?

In other news, its appears All American TB, Robert Heller has left Waynesburg.  It was mentioned one time that he was considering a move to the OAC and Slippery Rock during this past offseason.  It will be interesting to see where he lands, a talent for sure...
