I have been pulling myself in from the complex swimming pool, here in Tampa ... more oppressive heat and sun than an August day, today ... to check FOOTBALL.
First time I heard how to pronounce the Capital QB's name; spelled different, but his older sister (Mom?) Marie is HOT, especially after the weight loss!
Since retiring from the Air Force last autumn, I think the Tampa experiment is almost over ... a great place to visit, but don't want to live here.  We love the serenity of the Hooter's in Port Richey ... need to meet Kirasdad, et al, there.
Been looking at jobs back north, with some possibilities.  In reality, it feels "right."
Reality Paul:  If ONU plays MUC tomorrow, I will cheer for ONU, out of respect to you.  MAN ... your team needs something bad!  (BTW, I will return tonight for some local wings that rival Frickers.)
Greetings and Cheers to you all!

JK

Finally, something good.  Cap forces a MUC punt on MUC's first offensive posession of the second half and goes down and scores.  28-7 Cap.

Hey, I have the OU-Tex game on mute on the TV.  Great game...back and forth.

JK

So much for making a game of it.  Cap can't stop MUC...

MUC answers, Kmic scores again, his second TD, 35-7 MUC

3 TD for Shorts and 2 for Kmic

JK

Kmic gets his 3rd TD, 42-7 MUC.

Cap loses two starting OL and a starting DE.  So much for saying healthy...

JK

Cap turns over on downs early in the 4th.

I'm leaving to watch the Buckeyes.

Good game all, back to the drawing board for another year.

WOW!  I called it!  I am a genius!   ;D

On a personal note......my Youth football team lost 15-12.  Jr. had a monster game though, and I am proud of him.

Another #1 goes down.  It's going to be another one of those years in major college football.

Yikes, who expected this?
Mount Union 49
Capital 7
hscoach could have doubled spread and Raiders still cover.

Not I.  That was unacceptable.  Cap had a real chance to win this game this year (on paper at least), but MUC just dominated again.  It's not even a moral victory.  Cap haas to guard against the let-down next week against JCU and then they have the rivalry game against the Otters.  Wouldn't be surprised if they drop one of those two.  I don't think they will, but it really wouldn't surprise me.

They just couldn't stop them...

I guess the backups got a TD for the 49-7 final?

reality check

34-0 ONU remembers where the endzone is and they do it with new names...

Simmons and Meadows aren't even on the stat sheet.  Instead, Max Rothaker throws for 138 on 13 of 17 passing and 1 TD (another TD on the ground).  Brent Donley goes for 95 yards on 17 carries for 3 TD's.

Finally I can breathe.  Surprised this wasn't a close game in Tiffin.

At this point I can't find the official stats anywhere, but, watching the game, I thought Cap held Kmic to less than the 150 that JK said they needed--unfortunately for them I think Cecil had over 200 yds receiving.  Will be interesting to see the actual stats.

Does anyone remember some guy named Pierre who used to play for us??
Reloading--Again, and again, and again....

JK

I thought they said on the broadcast Kmic was over 200, averaged over 7 a carry.

In case he has been forgotten, he will now be the primary kickoff returner for the Colts starting tomorrow.

Hello MUC fans, I'm highly IMPRESSED by your program! I just read that the new WR is prolly better than Pierre is! Kmic seems to be on pace to a record-breaking season! Thank goodness you guys are in the OAC instead of the NJAC! I noticed other powerhouse programs has slipped a little over the years while MUC just keep on rollin! Something seems a little too good to be true ... even D1 teams go through bad seasons? Michigan, Penn State, Miami, Notre Dame even Florida State to name a few! How do MUC do it after all these years, hmmmm I wonder??? Well this is the point when I always ask "Why don't MUC put a D2-D1AA or even a lower tier D1A on their schedule if for no other reason than to use as a measuring stick? I've heard the excuses year after year (What do the D2-1AA-1A teams gain - Who would watch - Power rankings - Money allotment - travel expenses) but I think those excuses are HOGWASH! There is at least 1 team somewhere in this country that would play them as a favor to someone associated with the MUC program! TRUST ME, they have powerful friends on every level of college football! Heck, they just had a WR drafted to the NFL this year!
Good Luck beating the snot outta D3 teams this season MUC! ;o)

Please go away with your hatchet job of the English Grammar, as well as your weak attempts to claim that MUC is somehow doing something wrong.  Wouldn't you think that the NCAA would have investigated by now with all the success over the years?

Also, how does Pierre Garcon playing for the Colts help MUC schedule a D2, DIAA or DIA school?  Please go have another beer and restrain yourself from posting until sober.

JK,

Why would you think that Cap had a real chance to win? With A sophomore QB going up against an agressive D... With a pass defense that is weak and you're trying to defend against a QB with a rating of almost 240 and a receiver that averages over 100 yds/game and on top of all that you have to try and stop Kmic.

It could have been worse!
