The last surgery I had... I woke up to my girlfriend laughing hysterically.  I guess when I was "coming to" I was telling her and the nurse my plans to buy an island somewhere.

Saints

You can't buy the rock outcroppings on Lake Cumberland.  I'd laugh at you too but not because of the plans for your island.  Who's Badin losing to this weekend?   ;D

Seventies

Keep your head up.  You'll be back on your feet in no time.  (and any other cheesy cliche that seems somewhat inappropriate given your surgery).  Will we still be seeing you around here during the recovery?

reality....

do you NOT know??  This is C-J week.

Chaminade-Julienne (6-2, 5-0 GCL North) at Badin (5-3, 4-1 GCL Central)

**By the way, the GCL Central is gross this year.

There's a helluva lot more "rock croppings" on the lake now they've lowered the water level two years ago.  My new lake of choice is Dale Hollow or Center Hill Lake in TN.  My exgf grew up on Dale Hollow, so I probably won't be back there, though... unfortunately

Spent a lot of money on the Wi-Fi laptop that's going to get me through this. Now I need to figure out how to hang it from the ceiling I'll be on eBay buying game-worn jerseys.  Look forward to seeing a lot of you posters, lurkers, coaches (you know who you are) tomorrow.

They can keep the sponge baths, but bring on the muscle relaxants, sleeping pills and painkillers. I really have no need to remember this.

Otterbein will come ready to play. Their O will be the same. A good mix of run and pass. The offense really goes with the play of the o line. If they show up, Otterbein could be tough to beat. Coy and Yates in the backfield make for a tough tandom. But, you can't just focus on them. Rafferty gives a run pass option like no other QB in the conference. The scary thing is, i really think he has focused a lot on setting his feet in the pocket and making the big throw rather than running the ball this season. Last year, he chose to run more often than not. This year, he doesn't have to make up for the running game as much. Their offense is explosive and will go as far as the senior oline will let them.

THe d has played very sound so far this season. THey have caused a lot of TO's which has allowed the offense to put up the numbers it has. I think they are top 10 in the country in TO margain. Anyone who knows anything about football knows you have to win the TO battle to win games. Otterbein is deep at every positition on D. They can sub guys in and still be effective. This week, they need to contain Blackburn and not let him escape outta the pocket. If they do this, i feel like they can control the game.

I will be at the game this week. Myself and my good buddy Scott DeLong (former OC receiver) will be roaming the sidelines during the game. If your there, look for us. I'm the guy in a black jacket who looks like he should only be playing golf these days.

By the way, i'm an 8 handicap!

GO CARDS!

Is that (Dale Hollow) where you put the body?

Yeah I knew it was CJ week.  That's why I typed it!  My dad bought a ticket to the game today and told me he had to go to the school because the Dayton Daily News had two different spots in today's paper saying the game was Friday or Saturday and his pocket schedules showed both days as well.  The positive is that since it's Saturday and in Hamilton, Coach Place should be in the stands.  Here's to a good game for both schools.

We lost tonight 34-28 to the number one team in the state on the road and for their homecoming.  We were tied at 28 with 1:05 left in the fourth on their 3 yard line.  We kicked a FG, got it blocked and with 18 seconds left in the game, the wideout caught a ball on 4th down fully laid out in the back corner of the endzone.  Tough one.

haha... it should be.  All I can say -- I'm just happy that I won't be seeing her again.

I didn't mean CJ is weak... I was saying the GCL Central (with Roger Bacon, Badin, Purcell Marion, and McNicholas) is pretty much garbage these days.

Order of events for today:

ONU takes care of the Pios.  Donley has another 100+ yard day and 2 TD's.

Ohio State takes care of MSU.  Although Ringer has 100+ yard day and 2 TD's in the loss (representing CJ with pride).

CJ takes care of Badin.  Hess has 200+ in the air and 2 TD's.

We'll see how this schedule turns out tonight.

SaintsFan,
Not so fast my friend. :) Roger Bacon will be back. The freshman are 9-0 and won the GCL, the JV won the GCL. They are young and playing alot of underclassmen right now. There are only a few seniors that are any good. The talent is in the Junior and Freshman class.

D O.C.

28 - 0 in the second...

You guys are (almost) unbelievable.

Capital has MUC hangover.  Assman has thrown 2 picks, Capital had 4th and goal inside the one on their second posession and got a delay penalty, have had three false starts on third and one or less.  Defense is giving up chunks of yardage...ugly so far.

JCU took Assmann's second pick back to cap's 18 and are threatening to take an 11 point lead.

It's 7-3 JCU for now.
