Mr. Ypsi

JK, from the desperately seeking a silver lining department: Cap must have one hellacious defense to only yield 13 points when having to deal with nine turnovers! ;)

raiderpa

beginning to look ahead to possible playoff matchups....LK versus nephew Raeburn would be intriguing...

bushman

since Cap played soooo badly against JCU  and since the Cards are their main rival and are unbeaten and Cap was embarrassed over their performance and Cap as we know can play much better    I believe a Cap victory will occur.    Redemption is sweet.  They have nothing else to play for now except to spoil The Cards season.   Sounds like an upset in the making.    And so it goes     Oh one other small thing  Assman must play.

Don't want a silver lining (not yet anyway, I'm still pissed), but thanks for the effort...

and, you got it wrong.  It's not "nine turnovers."  It's NINE TURNOVERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just realized that Cap HAS to beat the Otters this weekend, or they'll finish ahead of us in the standings if all holds true to form.  Cap beats Ott and MUC beats Ott, then they both finish 8-2.  Still a lot to be decided in the OAC behind MUC.  JCU has MUC and OTT left on the schedule, OTT has Cap and JCU, Cap has OTT and BW, BW has a suddenly resurgent ONU and Cap...

From the "For What It's Worth" department: Pierre Garcon had 4 returns for 70 yards Sunday in a starting role as Kick Returner for the Indianapolis Colts.

Thanks for all the well wishes, both from many of you on this board and many of you who stopped by the south wall to say Hi yesterday. It was good day to visit. Sorry I didn't have time to catch up with Coach Mike but I had a band show to announce in Rittman. So whacked out about this surgery I stumbled all of the script,  annoucing that the band would play that Ohio State favorite "Hang on Snoopy"

See y'all later in the week, although I may be reporting in from the "Land of the Morphine Button."

Dear Friends--

This is really quite a surgery for seventies--in through his throat--replacing vertebrae in his neck with grafted bone from his hip--I wouldn't want to have to deal with anything like it.  He will be laid up for a good long time.  Anyway, he is in St. Thomas Hospital in Akron and, I'm sure, would welcome cards and good wishes.  Send them on to:

David Ross
St Thomas Hospital
444 N. Main St.
Akron, OH   44310-3110

He'll  be there until Wednesday or so and then home:

3650 Mogadore Rd
Mogadore, OH  44260

I just talked to his wife and the surgery went well, but it will be a long recovery--think of him often and wish him well.  His wife said I could post the home address as long as y'all promised not to egg their house! :D :D

Thanks for thinking of our friend.

Thanks Theaprof, nice to see you again saturday as well.
Best wishes on a speedy recovery for Seventies.

JK
Arbys' and McDonalds both indicated they can only put 6 turnovers on their rack at one time.  They can't keep making NINE TURNOVERS, it just won't work!  ;)

I saw his nice personal foul, grabbing the facemask, on the Punt also.  :(

This is actually a serious observation from this season...

Could it be that Mount Union has the best QB, RB & WR in all of Division III?

Though Mount has had other outstanding teams... I don't know if they ever could have made this claim in the past.

Thoughts?

possibly last season...the Kmic/Beav debate would be interesting, but I give the edge to Kmic

Wideout

I would say that group of receivers and backs is making it hard for teams to key on anyone. Someone is open or there is a nice hole to run in ;D
