cards up 48-0 late in the third over Etta. About to score again. This game was 21-0 at the half... just blowing it away

OldOtter

ok i lied, my source at the game said its now 55-0 with 12 left in the fourth.

he also said loth has the starters (except rafferty) still in the game. not sure why you would risk any injuries with Mount coming up next week. take the foot off the gas, coach!

If Owens doesn't like to lose to MT.   then just do what Wooster does
When was the last time the MUV JV'ers lost to a college/university sub-squad?

Next Saturday's matchup should be the game of the week.  Can't wait to see how Cardinal offense does against Mount's defense.

Mr. Mom,

Thanks for the cow bells.  We'll make good use of them in Westerville next Saturday.
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

My congrats to regis scafe,  the score was 13 to 0  and he has a fourth down on his own 11 yard line in the second quarter.  It was only a couple of inches and he had the courage, the guts , the overall confidence to go for it.  What a coach!  What a guy, he gave Mt. an easy 7 pts.    On another note,  this was the second worst officiating crew I have seen.  They must have cost Mt. at least 3 TD's on phantom calls.  They called a very one sided game.   I don't mind if bad calls are spread around but they were hell bent on keeping this game closure than it should have been.       HS coach was right, Rocco is not the answer.   Otters up next I hope the Raiders are more focused next week.  esp. our QB.

Before the season started, who would have thought that Otterbein vs. Mount would be the biggest game in the OAC this year? Crazy! Excited for the game in Westerville this week.

Raiders Fan

It looking more and more likely that in the upcoming playoffs Coach Kehres will be going up against his nephew Erik Raeburn.  If things continue on the current path it should be a heck of a home coming when the former Raider brings his Little Giant Wabash team to Alliance.

Eric turned around the football program at Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa before moving closer to home when he took over the Wabash program this year.  Eric has the Wabash team on a roll, but I suspect uncle Larry will give him a lesson when they meet.

You're quite welcome ... that was a stitch!  Definitely worth the price of admission.

They will not be sold in the lobby on your way out.

Most intense first half I've seen this year against JCU. And bushman you're right...you're playing against a great defense and you go for it on your 12 yard line? WHAT?

What about OTT's defense staying with Mount's offense?

Has anyone seen both Mount and Otterbein play against a common opponent?  If so, how do they compare?

purpled

Mount has scored 226 1st half points compared to OTT's 161 (if my math is correct  ;D)

4th and inches on your own 11 and your team is still in the game early 2nd quarter and you go for it? Guts and confidence got left right there on the 11 yard line! CRAZY CALL! BOLD yes, but CRAZY, better term  might be suicide! Not only were they outplayed but out coached too, but nothing new there, LK has outcoached his opposition something like 94% of the time now.
Think the officials were abit lopsided as well with calls, but the worse part about it was the refs never took control of the chatter and postplay bull that was occuring right in front of their faces! Every game has some smack being thrown, but there were plenty of times that the refs should have been smacked themselves to wake them up and keep the game under control.
I hope that QB Petruziello is alright after having to leave for an injury, but for the jawing going on i think he sealed is destiny to take some more shots when he was in the pocket. I admire his spirit and the fight he's got, he's a great kid, but i think he was taking it abit too far almost every chance he could. I can only imagine his mother having to make the two boys sit at both ends of the Thanksgiving table this year as both Vince and Mark may be winging that mash potash or turkey legs at one other,..............as friendly competition might be the main course.  ;D
Gotta be hell for parents to have two boys on different teams and not know whether to stand and cheer or bite your lip!

RIC and HSCoach
I think the Camaro and Mustangs are lined up for the next broadcast.....LOL
I caught the tailend of the boadcast and you were talking about someone in England listening in on the game? can you elaborate? missed it.
