Personally, I think Trine as a #2 means the North is stronger!

Stronger than what?

Trine has two one-point wins against two-win teams.

are you on a mission to get CWRU a higher seed than Trine?  Turnovers or not, they beat a pretty good Franklin team THIS season.  I don't think the committee checks he OAC page for ideas.. you might need to drive to Indy tonight.

BTW, how hard is their job tonight?  And which criterion is going to be more important tonight in the meeting?  I think inquiring minds would like to know that, with all the uncertainty after today's happenings.

I really don't see Trine in the second round, especially if they have to play Otterbein. Otterbein ain't Kentucky Christain.

BTW Trine ain't no Otterbein.

Trine is still better than probably better than 15-18 playoff teams. Forgive me but there are some really bad teams in the final 32

potentially there are some really bad teams in the final 32.  The committee has a chance tonight to make it stronger with whatever they do with Pool C.

Just 34 net yards, next week, gets Nate to 4th.  An additional 27 gets him to 3rd.  But, he would still be 378 behind Bowers.  That's a tall order but not as tall as the 1038 he is presently behind Woodhead.  ;-)

Run Nate, Run!

I heard about the OC/JCU "brawl" right after it happend. From what I understood, King picked up a fumble at the end of OT. He started runing it back (not sure why you'd risk another fumble) and then decided to slide to end the game. Being one of the more vocal leaders, I'm sure King was pretty exited after ending the game. He has a tendacy to do that. I know, i played with him. I was told that a few JCU players were standing above him and jawing too. Some OC guys pushed them outta the way to celebrate and thats when all hell broke lose. I did also here that some JCU coaches were out in the middle of it. I'm sure emotions were high as one team just clinched the playoffs and the others season ended. I hate to see somethig like this happen. I know it happend a few years ago when we played up at the Berg. Not a fun situation, especially when its on the day of the first school playoff appearence.

It will be interesting to see who that cards pull in the first round. I'm pumped either way!

Well,  for all of us looking for Nate to get big yards, hopefully Lycoming will be just the ticket. I can't imagine it will be much of a game.

Massey rates Lycoming with Ohio Northern

111th in total offense vs #1 Mount Union

I missed it but Jason Trusnik was finally activated from the Physically Unable to Perform List (which he'd been on since late Dec. 2007) and has recorded 2 special teams tackles in the last 2 games.  Glad he's back on the field.

It's why I'm still under 2 grand posts after all the years. Alway, I'm still stuck in the house, reading crap like Massey ratings, although he does a great job rating Ohio HS teams

+ Karma to all the regulars before all the " You ain't seen what we got" karma busters show up later today.

From my inside source that was on the field, he turned around and pointed at the JCU player pursuing him and yelled "Yeah, motherf#@$er!" just before he slid.  Brawl ensued.

I was at the game. I was not on the field to tell you exactlly what happened, but I know that OTT recovered a fumble and returned it 40 yards and the player took a knee. There was an exchange after that between a couple of JCU and OTT players and then the JCU team came across the field, just like two years ago. If anyone should get control it should be the JCU coaching staff. From what I gathered after the game the OTT players said one of the coaches, student coaches or sideline staff hit one of OTTS players during the exchange. I'm sure someone will hear about that. So lets don't throw stones in glass houses, JCU is just as much to blame by coming across the field.  :-\

Relax, friend.  I was trying to be clever.  I wasn't even at the game.  I will point out that Otterbein's last two games have had an extracurricular altercation of some kind.  The common thread here is the Cardinals.  I'm also willing to bet that King didn't just "take a knee" as you suggest.  The posts above suggest the same.

I'm just going to help everyone out.  ALL MOUNT PLAYOFF OPPONENTS, USE THIS HANDY GUIDE TO MAKE YOUR POINT, I'VE MADE IT FILL IN THE BLANK FOR EASY USE:

Mount Union hasn't seen a ______________ like ______________ before.  They better not overlook ___________ if they want to get to Salem.

I don't think Lycoming will break out that line. If memory serves me correct - Mount has seen Lycoming before and it was not very pretty.
