By the way, just called the MUC ticket office to reserve some seats for Saturday, and they have to have the nicest ladies that work there.  After dealing with the Ohio State University ticket office over the years, it is so refreshing to talk with someone who is pleasant, wants to help, and takes the time to answer your questions.  She even asked how our son was enjoying being a student at MUC.  Maybe the difference in tuition is worth it after all.....

Once again subjected to boredom, I looked up Randolph-Macon on MasseyRatings.com. Massey rates them 84th in DIII. For comparison, he rates Heidelberg 86th and Wilmington 87th. The fact the they don't show up in the top 50 in most of the statistical categories might support that.

It took my wife a long time to figure out why when I decided to return to school in my late forties to become a teacher why I wouldn't pick up courses somewhere else. It's just a warm friendly place.

Case and Wabash could be a good match up.  Even if it isn't the bunch from Wabash should make it entertaining.  Say, did the founder of the "Big Boy" restaurants have some connection to Wabash?

artificial noisemakers are banned at NCAA playoff contests, however, I have not seen it enforced....As far as Thundermom is concerned......I  think it is gentlemanly to give all mom's a pass...they just don't understand....ha

Thanks!  That's what I thought and why I posted the question initially.

Last year I made it back to my first game at MUC for 13 years.  In that time I've attended several Florida, SOuth Florida, and Bucs games.  As electric as the environment at a DI power can be, it can't compare to the DIII experience in Alliance.  From the time we stepped foot an campus to the time we left the bookstore the  genuine friendliness of everyone warmed an otherwise miserably cold day.  Where else can you find an all you can eat buffet that compares to a cruise ship where guests dine with the college president?

Small but Slow must be rich, I have never been on a cruise ship, nor eaten with a college president.  LOL

I can't tell, but he appears to be wearing Pittsburgh Steelers gloves.  Add this on top of the "Wabash always fights" cheer and now I truly hate them.  Although to be honest, it is rather amusing to hear "Wabash always fights" when down by 5 scores.
They should have practiced harder.

The Sun Cruz gambling boat has quite a spread if you lose enough on the tables . . . so I've heard.  For my $6 at the MUC pre-game buffet I stood in line at the omelet bar with Dr. Giese.  Friday night we can hit the Hungry Harry's all you can eat bar-b-q for the pre-game.

that dude in pic was the center of problems at the case/wabash game a yr ago.  the pic was taken from a spartan fan who was tired of the obsenities and verabl abuse from this group directed at parents and siblings....

lets hope he stays in indiana this weekend and lets the loyal, respected wabash following journey to cleveland.
