And to think this geezmeister lives in my town!  I may have to pay him a visit and "educate" him on the finer points of Mount football.   ;D

I saw Don Myers, N. Canton and thought "Could this be the same bitter old guy who's driving school I attended back in the mid 90's?"  Anyone who learned to drive in Stark County is cringing thinking about Myers Driving School!

Note: I don't even know if this is the same guy, but a Don Myers owned the driving school.

GO HOBART

So, if Mount wins this week will you be back again next week cheering for whatever team wins on the other end of the bracket?  I love the "We can't beat them so I hope someone else can" attitude.  I hope that your band keeps the drums away from the sidelines next year just in case SJF scores a TD to cut the game to 42.

Congratulations Don Myers! You are the winner of this year's "Speak with Fork Tongue, Knife Palate and Spoon Lips" Award for not knowing what you're talking about! And to think, this was an election year! As this year's recipient you receive a no-expense paid trip to Mount Union Stadium next year! That's right Don, you pay for your gas, food and tickets! And if that wasn't enough you will plan a meeting with Coach Kerhes to talk with him regarding all aspects of football (sorry Don but yes, you must invite yourself).

The purpose of this award is to help those help themselves.

Again, congratulations Mr. Myers. And thank you for participating!

Does anyone have any knowledge about Hobart?    Their offense.   Their defense.   Their special teams.   Has anyone seen them play?

Nope - just East teams.  I want an East team to beat MUC - would have preferred it to have been SJF, and we'll try again in Sept. but hope it can happen sooner.

Speaking of attitude, as was demonstrated by the piss poor behavior on display during and after when UWW slapped MUC around in front of a Nat'l TV audience last year, you guys have it to and it is at the same level or worse as all the other fans of other teams - grow up, and learn how to tell when someone was injecting humor into something. . .

I would dread stepping on the field against Hiram. I played against a couple of really bad football teams in HS and they did a lot of unexpected things.

Also, I had the treasured opportuniy to run track at Mount against Akron. We have to remember that football isn't Mount's only sport. I can't imagine us playing basketball even in DII. Can you say 0-34

The "softening" of America continues......little junior got cut, didn't make National Honor Society, got yelled at in practice, didn't get an "A" on the report ("and I know he worked hard"), didn't get into 1st choice college, wasn't the starting QB, wasn't the "lead" in the play.....etc., etc., etc.

Sometimes we need to fail, fall on our butt, and learn to recover without Mommy/Daddy "having our back"

OK, I'm done.....

Funny, all decent principals end up seeing the world in a fairly consistent manner.

I congratulated our's for giving my daughter an in-school suspension as he is prohibited from kicking her butt.

The WWII generation did not cry, whine and moan - they picked themselves up, dusted off their butt and forged ahead. Ever since it has been a downward slide into mediocrity. It has become acceptable to not get better, tougher, faster, stronger - instead we wait for the top dog to move somewhere else while we stay the same and claim to be better than before after they are gone.

Best post I've ever seen.  I'm gonna give you K+ for a week!

A very Happy Thanksgiving to you and your's.

I'm thankfull to be going back to work next week. Very few Middle School teachers ever say that.

I agree!
I find easily offended people rather offensive!
