New to posting but have been a reader for many, many years.... Looks like cortland has a back with almost 1500 yards, Andrew Giuliano, avg 5.4 per rush.  Their stats look interesting also, look forward to another good game saturday.

Larry Kehres for Browns head coach!   ;D ;D ;D
They should have practiced harder.

I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

I doubt I would ever take offense at a remark by "kirasdad" - no offense taken.  In some math quarters, rounding up is taboo.  And, the first sentence of my post was garbled, disjointed and definitely not a paradigm of sentence structure.

Bottom line?  Kid Kmic is awesome and, according to "dlippiel", NASTY.  And yet, as "hscoach" points out - he's NOT a Gagliardi finalist.

Run Kid, Run!

Let's hope his last carry for the PRaiders is the 2008 National D3 Championship Trophy.

My apologies for rounding 191.8 up to 192.

My spreadsheet, which goes awry when I post it herein, suggests that Nate, through his career, is averaging 192 yards per playoff game.  If that continues and Mount continues to win, he needs 171 ypg through the Stagg, to catch Woodhead.  With 184 ypg through the Stagg he would reach 4.55 miles or 24,000 feet or 8k yards.

But first, the PRaiders have an important game with Cortland State.  Go Raiders, go Nate!

Kmic is currently averaging 191.8 YPG in the Playoffs (as a career).

Didn't mean to offend.  I think I misread your post and thought you lost your spreadsheet.

What, pray tell, has Larry Kehres done to warrant condemnation to Hell on Earth?   :(

I was thinking more or less the same thing. Why would he take a demotion after all his success?

That would be a WHOLE LOT MORE than a DEMOTION!

The spreadsheet I mentioned earlier now exists on a server in Woodbridge (Sachse), TX. It comes to you compliments of my 35 year old son that watched his first PRaider game about 25 years ago.  He and his Championship Little Aviator teammates were "guests" of the Mount Union Athletic Department.

If you're interested, in current NCAA career rushing data, with a tilt toward Kid Kmic, try the following link:

Toph......were you at the Hood yesterday?  Skunk and I came in with our posse after the game, but we really didn't have a way to indentify you.  I didn't see any JCU gear.

Word was that there was an LK sighting at the Hood after the game....just goes to show he is "one of us", only better!   ;D

So I am thinking that the Cortland State game might be our first true challenge in these play-offs (not that Hobart didn't play valiantly).  I know the stats don't really show it, but they seem to be playing well at the right time.  What does Nate need to average to reach/beat the all-time rushing record?

I stayed at a Mount Union game for the longest time since I was calling blowouts for WJCU.  I had to wait until it was 35-7 to head to the Hood, so congrats to the Hobart folks for giving Mount a tough test.

I was wearing Carroll gear, but it was under a red sweatshirt.  Next week I'll try to remember to bring a hat or something.

Getting mightly crowded with SAE's here. Welcome Bro.

While I don't want to debunk any theories about Cortland St putting it all together in the playoffs let's examine some other stats from Massey (one of the six BCS statisticians)

Curry  112th Strength rating  214th schedule strength

Plymouth ST 130th Strength rating 206th schedule strength

For comparison:

Averett  123 Strength rating 125th schedule strength

I do think they will keep our D-backs working hard, but they showed me something exciting against Hobart.
Same as it ever was...same as it ever was...same as it ever was...

Hold on a sec.  At least he didn't say Bengals, or Lions, or Fightin' Irish.  There are a lot worse places than Cleveland.
