Congrats to Jimmy Bartolotta for signing with Air Avellino of Italy's Serie A. The team has Demarcus Nelson (Duke), Dee Brown (Illinois), and Chevy Troutman (Pitt) on their roster, as well as Cenk Akyol of the Turkish national team (listed on eurobasket.com).

All-American Sean Burton (Ithaca College) was originally expected to play in England's second tier (of three) league but has opted for Iceland instead.  Not sure the details but will follow up.

Hope he brings along chickens or gold bullion or candy bars with which to barter, given the collapse of Iceland's monetary system.

Former SLU guard Josh Sharlowe is off to a pretty good start playing for the London Leopards Division 1 Professional team in England. Through 9 games Josh is averaging 14.1 points per game. Twice he has scored 20 points in a game, 19 in a game and 17 in another game, leading the team in scoring in all 4 of those games. He's had double figures in 7 of the 9 games he's played in.

That seems like an interesting place to play.  Cool that he's getting to play in several different countries.

Middlebury's Tim Edwards and Williams's Blake Schultz are both playing in Germany.

Blake, an All-American last year, has been blogging about the experience: http://blakeschultz.blogspot.com/

Former ENC guard JP Marcellus signed with Mansfield in the UK.  The guy had lots of athletic ability and raw talent, I guess they saw something they liked.
