Clayton Cahill leads NPU with seven points. Phil Schniedermeier has six points and seven rebounds. Augie is led by Alex Washington, who had a sensational first half with 12 points. Chandlor Collins has eight points and five rebounds.

It's bad enough that NPU has to play this game without its top scorer and most experienced player, but the Park is not helping its cause by going only 10-16 from the FT line. NPU has also coughed up the ball 13 times -- no surprise, considering the quality of Augie's defense and the youth of NPU -- and is being outrebounded by the hosts, 18-15.

Their saving grace appears to be Augie's inability to connect from outside. The Doggies are only 1-10 from treyland.

Mike Ventura, who is the closest thing NPU has to a veteran presence with Williams out, just committed his fourth foul, and that's with over seventeen minutes left in the game.

If the Park would just stop turning the flippin' ball over, they could actually make a game of it. Augie doesn't appear to be playing very well. Also, the Park keeps shooting itself in the foot at the FT line: 15-23 from the stripe won't get it done against a team as good as the Doggies.
