 UWW looks a little surprised by Wheatons agressive MTM defense. They can't be caught off guard by that from the WIAC can they? They are not doubling Tim McCrary and he has 12 and 6 at the break. Jon Demoss has 13 pts to lead all scoreres for Wheaton. Jahns w 10 and UWW's Danzler has 11.

This Whitewater team is pretty inexperienced.  Only 4 guys who have played thus far in the game averaged 10 or more minutes last year.  And the starting point guard who would have been a sophomore decided not to come out.  I think this team is going to take a little time to gel and figure things out.

Augie has a whopping advantage in rebounds (22-10) and FG percentage (53% to 37%). At this point, I'd be kinda surprised if the Bears are able to hang around in this one -- especially if Spencer Gay and Caleb Knepper (2 fouls apiece) get deeper into foul trouble.

I finally got the live feed working just in time to listen to the Bears start with a 15 point deficit.  My wife has Dancing with the Stars on the television, so my options are:

-Listen to this my Bears fall further behind.
-Watch Bristol Palin dance, or whatever.

This is going to be a long season.

Aurora leads NCC 27-23 at the half. NPU is up 10 on Edgewood late in the 1st half.

Carthage leads Whitworth 35-33 at the half as the Redmen's Carey is fouled attempting a 3 pointer at the buzzer. He steps up to the line and hits all 3 free throws to give Carthage its' first lead of the game.

Steve D. is starting the second half on the bench, as he and Guzman have three fouls apiece. He sat out the last five minutes of the first half. That's probably the longest breather he's ever had as a Red Man.

It sure does. I'm having trouble with the broadcast though, as it keeps winking in and out on me. I live in an area where I can't get high speed internet, and trying to get the feed on dial-up many times is an impossibility. Some nights I just stay late in town at my store, where I have high speed service and watch or listen to a game there. Especially if my Plattsburgh St. Cardinals are on the road and the opponent has an audio or video feed.
