I think John's more worked up about the way the Pirates have muscled up Steve D. all night than he was about the Guzman fracas. It now appears that the technical has been rescinded. That's a puzzler. Never heard of a technical being retracted by the refs.

A rescinded technical??? That is a strange call. Maybe the ref went "under the hood" and checked the replay to see who pushed who :D I heard a bit about the stoppage but then lost my feed again. Thanks for the updates.

Greg,
You're getting a bigger audience here on this board, Pretty soon you may outnumber the fans at the game.

John's my favorite PBP guy in D3, and one of the reasons why is the fact that he pulls no punches on the air.

Steve D. makes one of two FTs.

Thanks Greg for all the updates. Iwas looking at this game for the National Pick Em contest this afternoon and the more I looked at Whitworth the more I liked em.
I went with then in Our National contest and then realized I had picked Carthage in the CCIW pick ems on Monday. So I had to change my pick in the CCIW pick em this afternoon. Figured I'd jinx myself but I got lucky. No one else in the CCIW league had Whitworth and only a few guys had them in our National league. Whitworth picked up 2 transfers from DI or 1 from DI and 1 from D2 this year, and I thought that might make a difference. Unfortunately I had such a lousy feed I don't know if those guys matterted or not but I'll be checking the box score later to find out. Not a good night for Stevie D. Did hear the announcer say on a few ocassions that Steve was getting roughed up.

The D1 transfer, Taylor (U of Montana), was the leading scorer with 26 points. He's a player.
