It is weird having the livestats a good 10 seconds ahead of the radio broadcast!  Especially since the 'game summary' page of livestats is still stuck on 3-0! ;)  But the pbp is apparently going VERY efficiently.

To revise my earlier post - livestats is more than 20 seconds ahead of the radio broadcast! :P  Is WJBC bouncing their internet signal off the moon?! :o

Augie got very hot via transition at the end of the half, playing off of steals and long rebounds.

Augie's shooting 50% from the field (14-28), Wesleyan's shooting 42% from the field (10-24). Augie's also hotter from downtown: 50% (4-8) to 0% (0-5). Both teams are Clank City at the line; Augie's at a woeful 56% (9-16), Wesleyan's an even worse 47% (8-17). Augie has a slight edge in boards, 19-17, and has only turned over the ball half as many times as has IWU (4-8).

It was the Sean Johnson Show for IWU in the first half, as the Titans senior paced all scorers with 16 points. Brian DeSimone, who led Augie in its end-of-half surge with a couple of treys, leads the Doggies with 10.

The foul situation is interesting. Little-used Mike Avallone of Augie is the only player with three fouls, but a plethora of players have two: Bryant Voiles and Troy Rorer for Augie, and Schick, Gonzalez, Ziemnik, Zimmer, Koshnitzky, and Connolly for IWU. Nice job by Ron Rose of shotgunning his rotation to keep anyone from picking up a third foul.

I'm not listening to the IWU radio broadcast, Chuck; I'm listening to Chris and Dan. They're slightly ahead of the live stats feed.

Doesn't sound good at all for the Titans . . . not the pace and speed of game that suits them, and little scoring production so far from anyone other than Johnson.  Titans are doing a pretty good job on the boards battle, but need some scoring from others.  I'm sure Augie D is as tough as usual.  0-5 from 3ball land won't cut it . . . need some better perimeter scoring to open things up for Sexauer and Kman in the post.
