Do any Wheaton fans think that Raymond should bring up the ball? Amazing how Wash U can stay in games by just playing smart.

Wallis 12, Raymond 11, Thompson 10

Wheaton just 2-10 from beyond the arc, while Wash U. is 5-12.  Otherwise a pretty even first half.

Wash U. doing a great job on Raymond and Wallis hitting some tough shots on the offensive side.

Interesting question, it certainly couldn't hurt to get the ball in his hands more, but that is the way they have been running the offense recently.  The problem is that even when he does create shots for teammates, they're not knocking them down.

I havent seen Wheaton too much, and I feel like they arent getting him as much touches as most great players get. Any thoughts on throwing the ball down to Wiele? I know Wiele is good since I watched him tear my beloved LU Vikings up last year in the first round game. Good news for Wheaton is that its not very likely that Wash U keeps up their fantastic 3pt shooting.

I think Wiele and Raymond both need more touches, Wheaton's offense is only efficient when it is running through one of those two. That was a great game last year, it was a shame someone had to lose.

Well, Im hoping for a Wheaton win sicne the loss to Wash U still upsets me  :D . Could have easily been LU vs Wheaton right now. Great game going on right now though, two very good teams.
