McMurry at Wheaton in the finals of the Lee Pfund Classic.

At 17:15, Wheaton leads 7-5.

Wheaton is up 16-10, 13 minutes left in the half.

McMurry is cold on the "3".

Wheaton is up 24-12.  Strong defensive pressure by Wheaton.

Wheaton 35-18, 7:12 left in the half.

McMurry is not hitting their FT's  (2-11).  Wheaton is in the double bonus.

Wheaton 37-27.

Wheaton up 40-27, then a 5-0 McMurry run, and back up to 42-32 with 2 minutes left.  Now 44-34 less than a minute to go.

McMurry's Luckey hits a FG, and Wheaton responds. 46-36.

McMurry is 3-13 from the FT line.  46-37.

Johns hits a 3FG to go up 49-37 at the half.

McMurry is traditionally a 67-69% FT shooter, so this is way off. (And don't let me get started on FT shooting percentages.)

McMurry has gone 12-deep in the lineup and has gotten good guard play from freshman Jacob Montez and Southwestern U transfer Ryan Chavez.  That is encouraging, while Robert Moreno was on the bench with 2 fouls.

Augie beats MacMurray 85-65 for their first solid/easy win of the year against the third of 3 weak opening game opponents. Augie was up 34 points in the second half before the reserves allowed Mac Murray to make it more respectable late in the game. Nice games from Nelson and Anderson. Terrence Green saw some action for the first time in 2 years.

Carthage beats UWPlatteville 78-65. Steve D with 24. 3 other starters in double figures. Nice win for the CCIW

Wheaton 18-22 from the line and leads 74-58 with 7 minutes left.

McMurry just missed the front end of a 1&1.  (Final FT% 15 of 30, but too late.)

Final Wheaton wins 88-72.

Good luck, Wheaton.

Tied at 64 w/ 5+ to go.

Titans very balanced - 4 players in double figures.

WashU is the Aaron Thomson show - 27 points (no one else in double figures).

Elmhurst leads Redlands 63-61 with 11 minutes to go. Hopefully, the Jays pull out this final game of the week, since Redlands hass recently been a pretty weak program.

IWU leads Monmouth 30-26 at halftime.

Sexauer leads with 11 points.  Ryan Connolly started, played 11 minutes, and scored 9 points.

After leading 34-13 at the half, Wheaton now heads Chicago, 39-20, three minutes into the second half. Panner leads Wheaton with ten points. Wheaton isn't shooting well, but Chicago's shooting is horrific: 31% from the field, 1-7 from downtown, 1-4 from the line.
