Makes the first.  63-60.  and the second 64-60.  Wheaton lost this game when they were up 2 with 1:18 to go and they let Thompson turn the corner and get it to Kelly for the easy layup.  It's a simple ball screen.  If you hedge and make him go wide, then he can't turn the corner and your single defender doesn't have to help.

Wheaton gets a meaningless tip in 64-62 is the final.

And Wash U won the game by getting the rebounding edge... they were down 2 at the half and ended up with the 31-26 edge.  That and the fact that Wash U kept getting easy bucket after easy bucket, mostly by Gay.


Wallis had 14 assists according to the live stats, to go with 7 boards and 7 points.

There was an internet feed from Gonzaga, but the game is now over.  I watched some of it, not sure of the final score, but it was 67-35 with about 4 minutes left.

Well, a win is a win.
