Thanks 21 and Q!  It was like I was "watching" the game!  +K for both of you.

Augie leads Chicago 27-21 at the half. Two Chicago TOs in the final minute stretched Augie's lead from 2 to 6 points. The lead easily could be bigger, but Augie is once again horrible at the FT line going 10-18 in the 1st half.

Aurora is whomping Elmhurst at the half, 58-35, in Thornton Gym this afternoon. Looks like a lot of layups in this one: Aurora's shooting 61% from the field, Elmhurst 52%. However, the 'jays have turned it over twelve times. Little-used freshman James Robertson leads the 'jays with ten points.

With three minutes and change remaining, Aurora leads Elmhurst, 99-83. Aurora had built up the lead to 29 at several points in the second half, but EC has come storming back to cut it to as little as 15. Probably too little, too late, though.

Halftime in SoCal:

Whittier 38
North Park 37

The Poets jumped out to a 22-9 lead, but a 16-2 run by the Vikings brought them back into it, and it's been seesawing back and forth ever since.

Whittier's live stats can't be right, because they have NPU freshman David Williams leading the Vikings with 12 points in ten minutes of action. David Williams hadn't even seen the floor in a varsity game until he got minutes at the end of the Caltech game, a game in which everybody who was on the plane and healthy got plenty of tick. Meanwhile, Davone Robinson hasn't even been in the game at all according to the live stats, which leads me to believe that they've mistaken Robinson for Williams.

Nick Williams has nine and Nick Hoekstra has seven for the Vikes.

The Whittier live stats appears to have gone down with NPU leading, 48-43, with 17:17 remaining in the second half.

NPU now up, 68-58, with eight and a half minutes to go.

Halftime at Faganel Hall:

Elmhurst 30
Westminster (MO) 28

This game is pretty much the diametric opposite of Elmhurst's scoreathon with Aurora the other night. EC is only shooting 39% from the field and 2-9 from downtown, while Westmo is shooting 36% and is 3-10 from beyond the arc. Elmhurst is dominating on the glass, 23-15, but the 'jays have turned it over nine times to Westmo's five. Zach Boyd has nine points and Dustin Bainter has eight for the 'jays.

Halfway thru the second half, Westminster leads Elmhurst, 50-44. EC was called for a bench technical at the 11:00 mark; I'm guessing that there is some frustration boiling over on the Elmhurst bench.
