Some folks don't have computers that can refresh quickly enough for them to follow Live Stats, so that's why I post updates.

Right.  I do the same!

Mr. Ypsi

A Sean Dwyer buzzer-beater has the Titans up 32-31 at the half.  Steve D. has so-far been held to 6 points - I fear that will not last! ;)

[#1 IWU destroyed #11 Carthage, 76-48, in the women's game.]

Mr. Ypsi

IWU up 49-43, with 12+ to go.

Sexauer is hot (18 pts on 8-9 shooting); Djurickovic is not (8 pts on 3-13 shooting).

Mr. Ypsi

Titans up 58-51 with 8:35 to go.

Mr. Ypsi

Now 64-53 with 5+ left.

LiveStats not doing a good job of keeping up with who's in the game - Sexauer is so hot his last 4 points (22 total) have come while he wasn't even playing! ;D

Mr. Ypsi

After falling behind by 15, Steve D. is finally taking over.  Carthage now down 9 with 3 to go.

Mr. Ypsi

Final in Bloomington: IWU 79, Carthage 69.

Steve D. finally came alive in the last few minutes, but it was too little, too late.  At one point he was 3-14 from the field, before making 5 of his last 7 and finishing with 22 points.

Sexauer finished with 24 points on 10 of 11 shooting. :o  Sean Johnson contributed 19 points.

Gregory Sager

Augie leads Elmhurst at the half at Faganel, 28-18. This one looks like thirty-one different flavors of ugly; Augie's shooting 42% from the field and 38% from downtown, but the Doggies are only 5-9 from the line. Elmhurst can't seem to get the ball up over the trees and into the basket; EC's only 6-24 (25%) from the field. More seriously, the 'jays are 0-7 from long range, and you have to figure that against a much bigger Augie team the trey has to be Elmhurst's bread and butter.

Augie's winning on the boards, 20-14, and has turned the ball over eight times to EC's seven. Matt Pelton leads Augie with nine points, while Bernier, Jackson, Boyd, and Dornfeld have four apiece for the 'jays.

Augie's up, 37-24, with 13:12 to play in the game.

It's now 45-29, Augie, with 10:27 left.
