Keep 'em coming!  Thanks.  :)

And the first halftime score is:

MU 38, IWU 34

Ogunleye and Patrick have seven apiece for Millikin; Zimmer leads Wesleyan with 8.

This one's been back-and-forth the entire half, although the Big Blue opened up a bit of a bulge in the final three minutes. IWU's dominating the boards, but Millikin's shooting a torrid 55% from the field and 63% from downtown.

Second halftime score:

EC 34, NCC 33

Elmhurst led most of the half, but the Cards made a mini-run to knock the lead down to one at the intermission. Burks leads the 'jays with 10 and Boyd has 8; Rogers and Drennan are a two-man gang for North Central, with 15 and 10, respectively.

And, finally:

CC 33, WC 30

Strange game -- long stretches of no scoring, with a flurry of points (mostly on free throws) at the end of the half. Djurickovic leads Carthage with 9, and he already has 6 assists. Panner, who is 4-8 from downtown, leads Wheaton with 12. Raymond, who didn't even score until there was only 3:18 left in the half, contributed 9 points, seven of those points coming from the charity stripe.

The big story in this game is Joe "I Wouldn't Shoot The Ball If You Put A Gun To My Head" Higgins. After going 0-9 from downtown thus far this season, he netted two treys in the first half tonight. My guess is that there wasn't a Wheaton defender within a country mile of him either time he shot the ball.

Carthage shooting 52% to Wheaton's 39% including 6-12 from downtown. Wheaton has not won a game when their opponent shoots 50% or better for the game. Its all about defense in 2nd half
