Commentators had some great points. 1. Work for a shot, any shot, not just 3 pointers. 2. Andy Wiele needs to come down with that, and then go up hard and make sure he gets the best look he can.

Simpson is handling Augie with ease so far. At half time Simpson is up 40-32 with an inexperienced Augie team showing little ability to play defense.

After another sluggish start Augie settled down and leads Beloit College (the eqivalent of a poor CCIW JV team or MWC JV team for that matter) 34-17 at the half.

IWU leads Webster 47-35 with 11 minutes left. Ryan Connolly leads the Titans with 10 points.

John Koschnitzky has only played 4 minutes and is not in any kind of foul trouble. I hope he isn't hurt.

Augie is a turnover machine. Beloit has cut it to 47-40 with 10 minutes to go. Augie is looking really poor in these first two games against weak opponents. Or maybe this year these supposedly weaK opponents are Augie's equals. Beloit has 3 really solid players in Towns, Bremner and Horton, who are making Augie pay for their carelessness with the ball.
