Wheaton shooting a paltry 22% from the floor.  That won't win many games.  NCC shooting 43%.  Wheaton outrebounding by 5.

Twyman leads NCC with 13pt, Barringer with 8, Raridon with only 4.

McCrary with 8, Schultze with 5.

5+ minutes gone in the second half.  IWU cut it to 16, but now back to 18.

Another oddity: while Sexauer is now up to 6 points, he still has ZERO rebounds.

Johnson up to 16.

Raul Guzman has 3 fouls; no one else with more than 2.

With 11 to go, Guzman just got his 4th foul (Cody Hilton, Ryan Connolly, and Sean Dwyer also have 3).

Tyler Pierce has taken over the scoring lead with 19.

Just under 10 to go and Bosko calls time - Sean Johnson has gone en fuego all of a sudden and has 22.  Lead down to 16.

At 7:55 to go, Sexauer FINALLY gets a rebound!  And is fouled, makes both free throws, and the lead is down to 13.

And in less than 30 seconds, Cody Hilton buries two treys, and the lead is again 19.

The only game still in doubt tonight is NCC vs Wheaton. 53-48 NCC with a little over 4 minutes to go.

After 37 minutes of perfection, Cody Hilton finally missed one!  He had been 5 for 5 on shots, all treys.

NCC is up 57-50 with 1:45 to go. If NCC holds on the battle for 3rd and 4th place in the CCIW is still up for grabs.

Ben Panner's 3 point play cuts it to 57-55 with plenty of time (48 secs.) left for Wheaton to pull it out.

Final in Kenosha: Carthage 80, IWU 55.

Curious: the RedMen never went to the bench, even in garbage time.  Only 8 players ever saw the court, compared to 14 for the Titans.

Johnson had 25, Sexauer 9, no one else over 5.  FIVE RedMen reached double figures.

Great day for Carthage - they upset the #1 ranked Titan women, then take over first place among the men.

59-57 NCC with 15 secs. left. NCC ball coming out of a Wheaton time out.

Looks like it's a final in Naperville.  NCC wins 60-58.  Too little, too late for Wheaton.  Shooting under 35% for the 2nd straight game.  Eventually that will catch up to you.  The funk continues for Wheaton when playing at Naperville.

McCrary fouls out with just under 4 minutes remaining in the game.  Finishes with 12 pts, 6 rebs, 3 assists, 7 turnovers.

Probably his worst game of the year, though he was in foul trouble.
