With twenty-four seconds left, Elmhurst is up, 74-65, at Faganal. Looks like this one's in the bag.

Live stats frozen on NPU site with NPU up on MSOE with 1:54 remaining: 60-53.

MSOE was up by 13 at the half.  NPU outscored MSOE by 20 in the 2nd half.  I'm sure GS will let us know who won soon...

IWU 31, Washington Univ. 30 at the half.

Coe video guys introduced NPU senior Jorge Gonzalez as "Hor-hay".

It's actually pronounced the same as "George".

That's my pet peeve -- PA announcers and broadcasters who don't bother to ask someone from the other team how to pronounce names.

Coe leads 15-6 with 13 and a half to go in the first stanza.

Coe's knocking everything down right now. Vikes, meanwhile, are taking some poorly-thought-out shots.

At least credit them with being among the few who know how the name is usually pronounced! ;)  But, yeah, they really should have checked.

To be fair, they seem to have corrected themselves. So I guess that they have checked, after all.

Coe lead cut to 19-15, with nine and a half to go in the half.

Coe 28, NPU 17. Vikings timeout with 6:30 left.

Coe is unconscious from the floor. NPU still making some poor shooting decisions.

At the half:

Coe 38
NPU 23

Just awful basketball at both ends by the Vikings. The Kohawks are shooting 59% from the field and 40% from downtown, and a lot of that is just great shooting on the part of the hosts. But NPU has not defended well at all, and has been particularly vulnerable to the baseline screen. At the other end, North Park is taking one ill-advised shot after another, and their stat line (32% from the field, 14% from downtown) shows it.

It'd sure be nice if the Vikings ever decided to play two good halves in the same game. Ain't gonna happen today.
