Now Mouzaoui has four fouls. That didn't take long.

[sigh]

AC 42

Augie 7-15 beyond the arc.

NPU's playing a 2-3 zone that's daring Augie to put up treys. Thus far, it's backfiring for the boys from Chicago.

Livestats shows one of the three officials as being a "Paul Brenegan".  That would seem to bode well down the stretch.....

I commented on the CCIW women's board that the Park, which was victorious earlier tonight, probably benefited from the fact that, according to Augie's live stats, one of the three refs was Amanda Reese. :D

Wow! An Issa Avery sighting! We haven't seen him get off the bench for the Park since the game at Elmhurst two weeks ago.

AC 48
NPU 38

12:19 to go.

... and now a Christian Alsing sighting as well. He hasn't played since January 8, the second game of the CCIW slate.

Still 48-38, 10:18 left. NPU appears to be in chucker mode; the eastern Vikings are now 4-17 from downtown.

AC 50, NPU 38, halfway thru the second stanza.

I'm not sure what it takes to get Issa out there.  He seems like a player that might benefit from a more consistent role.  When inconsistent performance and inconsistent playing time begin to intertwine, it becomes a chicken or egg thing that seems to make it tough for the player to dig himself out.

I just heard Christian Alsing's name called out.  That's good to hear.

Wow!  Brenegan's got the subs moving in and out faster than Jimmy John's!

Issa is his own worst enemy. The coaching staff does not like his lack of willingness to play team basketball.

Yep. He can help.

Mouzaoui fouls out on an offensive foul. Figures.

Mouzaoui with 5 fouls in 5 minutes.  At least it's easy math.
