CCIW in-game updates

IWU coming out with thuggish tactics seemingly trying to start a fight.  I wonder if that was the instructions from the coach or showing off in front of the football team.  The IWU coach was obviously ok with it as he didn't tell his team to stop. Very unsportsmanlike childish behavior not advantageous to the D3 philosophy.

There is no excuse for that behavior.  Wheaton would pull players for acting like that. It has nothing to do with the CCIW.  As a matter of fact most coaches do not put up with such nonsense.  Thats the behavior that is exactly wrong with professional sports today.  The CCIW has a great record of sportsmanship but the first few minutes of this game were some of the worst sportsmanship I have seen in any CCIW sport I have watched.  Its nothing to be proud of.

The extra pushing during and after the play. Its the way IWU came out. It was definitely fighting body language .  Im just glad that Wheaton was able to resist as some teams may not have been.  Why would a team who is playing the best basketball in the CCIW ruin there reputation with such behavior.  I cant believe coach Rose let it go on as long as it did.  Ive been a big watcher of IWU bball and the team play but very disappointed in the first few minutes of this game.  It may have been caused due to the pre game football team recognition but the coach should have took control of his team.
