Raptormania!

I love the idea of the tourney. For struggling schools like Becker and Easern Nazarene, the chance to play a elite team like Bard could only help their struggling programs. And let's host it at Stevenson Gymnasium. No need for any automatic bid- the chance to play in Annandale-on-Hudson will be incentive enough.

Automatic bid to the USCAA tournament.

Why don't we start with the ACCA.  You know, we wouldn't want the d3 school to be embarrassed.

Remember too, that in a losers tourney, the loser plays the next round, the winner goes home.  Loser of the final game brings home the championship trophy..
The only thing not to be liked in Florida is no D3 hoops!!!

We need to call it the "First Annual Survivor Pool One-and-Done Tournament, presented by d3hoops.com"  (that is if Pat's up for the commercial labeling).

Maybe the trophy is a giant bucket of kimchi and spam?

That's valid.... if you want me to kick David, Pat or hopefan around though, let me know. I know where they live. ;D :D

Joking or not, that may be a TOS violation although as the self-proclaimed TOS Queen, you would probably the one do interpret that rule.

Don't forget that the team I follow the second most closely is Denison.  Now, the Big Red are no Eastern Nazarene ;), but I think they're lowly enough to merit my admission to this room.  :)

Plus, I'll bet I've seen more Cal Tech games than any other regular in here.  :P

Well, that's a good question, since I did recently pretty much recently harass and threaten David over a period of, what weeks? until he gave me his address. :D (I should state for the many people who wouldn't know otherwise, that it was only to mail him a Christmas present I didn't get to give him at the Wooster Tourney since I went to NYC to watch Wheaton instead!)  :-X

I do love me the terms of service. I think they're a quality piece of literature. I think the terms of service would suggest that it's only bad if my "stalking" is undesired. For example, he will have to correct me if I'm wrong, but Sac seemed in favor of a young hot female stalker who was attracted to his HOFerness... if there are any interested young ladies out there.  :D

And I was serious, but I only know because I've met them and they've told me.... though I don't technically have addresses for all of them, and I don't even remember what towns they're in they so I would have to do quite a but of research before I could watch them from outside the window or anything....

ugh, this conversation is resurfacing those creepy feelings I used to have leaving work when things with my stalker were getting really bad... blah... new subject!  :-\

Speaking of which, I'm going to be heading out to Redlands-CalTech tonight. That will be Cal Tech game #3, at least. What were you at when you left? I'd wager I'll eventually surpass you. Unfortunately, I didn't see the Cal Tech game that really counted so who cares? ..... But then again, neither did you! :P

Now, the Big Red are no Eastern Nazarene,

You're right about that.  My brother's in school there now and he says there's 15 guys (him included, although he won't admit it) playing intramurals who could make the team over half the current varsity roster.  If it weren't for Luc Jasmin in the middle, he says there's three full intramural squads who could easily beat the varsity.

I'm happy though.  I mean they're never going to be competitive on a national level, so you might as well be outrageously bad, right?
