A sign of hope?

Dallas 53   Caltech   44

That may be the 1st single digit loss to a d3 team for Caltech in  quite a while.

Since 2/16/05 against Whittier. In fact, both games against Whittier were single-digit losses.

FDF beat me to it - Hope is still alive (LOVE the wordplay you can do with Hope!).

While there is still no word from the top-left corner of the country (sorry, Alaska!), I'll assume that Puget will have little trouble with Warner Pacific - presumably no change in the survivor pool.

And I'm going to bed before the PS score will be known.  Several interesting games tomorrow.

Greek Tragedy

According to this site, Puget Sound went down 100-93 to Warner Pacific.

Warner Pacific is a "receiving votes" NAIA D2 team for anyone that likes to compare D3 and NAIA scores.

Through Friday, 85 undefeated teams, 89 winless, 7 that havent played yet.   I think we'll forego listing at this point!!!!
The only thing not to be liked in Florida is no D3 hoops!!!

I assume you didn't calculate that one team at a time!  Where does one find such a listing?

hopefan

in one's data base where all schedules and scores (leading to wins and losses) are recorded    -   yes, we all have our quirks. ;)

hopefan,

I stand in awe, and 'applaud' your efforts!

Does this data base contribute to your 'day job', or are you a TRULY obsessed d3 fan? ;)

Mr. Ypsi

Catholic, Hope, Mississippi College, and Wooster all won today - no change in the Survivor Pool.

Mr Ypsi  -  I best plead the fifth on that one...... ::)

Perfect records after Saturday's games  :

74  teams undefeated  (including 5 teams at 5-0....  UW LaCrosse, Nebraska Wesleyan, Roanoke, Rhodes, and Widener)   Each of these teams have currently won more games than the 3 conferences with the slowest starts - the SLIAC, the GNAc, and the President's - each of those conferences has amassed 4 wins to date!

73 teams are winless
Only one team is up to (or should I say down to) an 0-5  record   ---   Lynchburg

5  teams still haven't played - but will join one of our lists after their first game!!!!

I nominate hopefan be instantly ungraded to All-American status!  ;D

Transylvania lost to #10 Wittenberg - we're down to 8 teams in the pool.

WPI won; no word yet on Wooster.

Mr. Ypsi

According to the NCAC board, Wooster 'eked out' survival - 150-101 @ E&H!
