Calvin - I always think they are going to win 'em all anyway so I might as well pick them.

In my 10:47 post last night, I (tongue-in-cheek) reminded sac and Point Special that I had 'first dibs' on Amherst.  In that same post I expressed surprise that no one had selected Guilford.  Therefore, when I now select Guilford as my second team, David and abominable can call me a 'johnny-come-lately' only due to the technicality that there was no second chance tourney at the time! ;) ;D

You're right, Chuck, you deserve to pick Guilford.  It was wrong of me to jump in and take them ahead of you (and abominable snowman).  I'll defer to your wisdom and see if I can find another team to jinx, er, I mean, select.

Mr. Ypsi

David (and all), kindly disregard my post of 6:55 today.  That must have been my doppelganger sneaking on to my computer.

The above has nothing to do with tonight's score in Greensboro: Greensboro 71, Guilford 66. ;D

Mr. Ypsi

As PointSpecial already hinted: UW-LaX 66, Augie 64.

This has got to be a new record: 9 picks for second try, 4 posters dead within 6 hours! ;D

I think you lost before you hit enter. :D ;)

Some of the unbeatens are dropping like flies!

I have to go with my home team of Puget Sound...so far they are 5-0.
Does this take into account all games or just d3 ones?

Since Tom was nice enough to give those of us still alive in the survivor pool dispensation to pick another team, I'll pick DePauw for the loser's-bracket survivor pool.

Had I known about this earlier I think I would have taken Virginia Wesleyan simply due to location, but now with the Guilford loss this seems like an even smarter choice.

I am going with Coast Guard for pick two.

Puget Sound

I was going to take Puget Sound as my second pick and then I started scrolling through other second picks and see that sac beat me to it. (I want to note if this ends up being correct I am saying today this is a perfect pick! If its wrong, I disavow all knowledge of the West Region).

However, in an effort not to appear as if I am coattailing on the sage wisdom of sac I will choose Mary Hardin-Baylor for my second pick. (Note my pick came down to choosing the winner of who I think will win the MHB - Mississippi College match-up for this weekend so I will be very upset if I chose wrong for this weekend's game.)

Please!  Pick UMHB!  We need them to get as many losses as possible!

The Men's ASC tourney is on the West this year! ;)

ok guys - how about a winless contest - many times turns out to generate more fun than the undefeated.....
