Well, raise my rent...I'll be.

Green Mountain looks to have three seniors and two juniors who are new to the team this year.

Also, they've not played a murderer's row:

Danny Webster (3-4)
Mass - Liberal Arts (4-4) (beat 'em twice!)
Bard (3-7) - their only loss
Johnson State - (2-5)
Eastern Nazarene (3-6)
Paul Smith's (NAIA - and Lord Knows how bad they are...)
Presque Isle (0-7)
Anna Maria (5-5)

But I'm sure they'll take all of the wins! It sure beats the alternative!

So Green Mountain travels by dog sled to games?  After the fourth of July that is the only way to get to Paul Smiths College.  They used to have a pretty decent Jr. College team there, my nephew helped them make the move from Jr College status to NAIA.  Of course shortly after that a new president came in and she decided that Athletics should not be emphasized as much and the nephew was let go.  Better for him, now he is in the bustling metropolis of Houghton NY at Houghton College.

smed, good research. +k

If it weren't for those seniors, I was gonna shock the Survivor pool next year by taking 'em!  What a turnaround!

See, Stinger, we're not really a bunch of sadists, revelling in the misfortunes of others.  May K'zoo get off to an 8-1 start next year! :)

See what happens when you get Stinger all riled up?

Narrow win...I think Occidental will punch their ticket tomorrow

It appears that the big opportunity for an Alma win vs Marygrove was cancelled some time in the past  -  the game does not show up on the schedule on Alma's website....

Going thru tonite's games, I see only two perfects on the line:

As previously mentioned, Plattsburgh has a tough test with Occidental

Undefeated Immaculata hosts Ursinus.

As much as I would love to triumph, the Ephs have SEVEN games before Rochester plays again, including home to dangerous Lasell and Keene St. teams and at Amherst, where they will be an underdog.  Odds looking pretty good for Rochester at this point ...
