smedindy - FYI  -I was truly hopefan back in the early 80's  -  I'll never forget the NCAA game vs Wabash and MEtzelaars and Merlin Nice  -  Great game, great comeback by Hope, but we couldn't catch 'em.

Ok -  we need more takers on the bottom 10 pollsters - 5 pollsters minimum.

Let's hold on the bottom 10 poll until January.  I really don't like polls that have so little data upon which to make a decision, especially a tough one like that.

January sounds good.  Old School was going to organize a posters top 25 after the new year, maybe these votes can be included.

after last night's games, there are 44 teams undefeated, 46 teams winless

I'll pass on the bottom 10 - unless I can just list CalTech and the various Maritimes 3 or 4 times each, I just don't feel qualified.

I've become aware of how spoiled I am as a CCIW fan - I tend to think of North Park (currently, obviously, with all their national titles!) as REALLY bad (even if they DID give IWU half their conference losses last year), and (in the post-season) even the SLIAC champion as REALLY bad.  I've realized that I have NO conception of what REALLY bad is!

P.S., Mississippi College remained a survivor last night - no word yet tonight.

P.P.S., I WOULD be interested in voting in a posters' TOP 25.

NPU beat Wesleyan two years ago, Chuck, not last year.

Amherst finally played...and won.  More importantly, my boys, Worcester Polytech won again, barely.

I would be interested in doing a bottom ten, we can't forget about Centenary and Rutgers Camden.

Like Mr. Ypsi, I don't feel I'm qualified to participate in the bottom 10, but don't let me stop the rest of you from doing it!  It's more than likely that I'll put tgether some kind of poster's poll come the new year.

From the ASC message board, at UMHB 66, Mississippi College 64!!!!!!!!

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :) :) ;) 8)

They lost!!!  They lost!!!! :) :) :D :D :D ;D ;D ;D ;)

(For all of the newbies, McMurry and Mississippi College are arch-rivals.  I was trying my hardest to hex them by picking them in the survival pick'em!) ;D

Mr. Ypsi

I can't access the scoreboard due to the heavy traffic on d3sports, but that means AT LEAST one more is 'off the island'!  Wooster (by a buzzer-beater in OT) and IWU (by 4) barely stay alive, while Hope won handily.

Anyone have any other relevant results?

Mr. Ypsi

Still can't access the scoreboard, but the NESCAC board has Amherst winning (no score posted).  Was anyone else playing today?

Worcester Polytech won a huge game at Williams, by 2, I believe.  wheew!
