There's always the undefeated vs. D-3. But yeah, it'll be tough for more than a couple to survive the gauntlet, I think.

I see that Rochester likely hits Brockport in the semis, giving me a shot of squeezing out the victory prior to Williams facing the daunting task of winning at Amherst (although the Ephs have won two NESCAC tourneys at Amherst, I can't even remember the last time the Ephs won a regular season game there ... it might have been back in the 1990's).  Williams/Amherst is at 4:00 on Saturday.  What time is the Chase final scheduled, in case Rochester hangs on to beat (likely) Brockport?

Update: I just checked.  Williams' last regular season win at Amherst came in 1996.  All four final four teams (including the national champion) lost regular season contests at Amherst; the Ephs' only two wins came in NESCAC tourney finals in 2003 and 2007.  So while the Ephs have a shot, history is against them on Saturday.  (Amherst has fared a little better at Williams, but has still lost the vast majority of its games on the Ephs' home court during the same time period ...  these teams seem to rise to the occasion at home).

Pat: I don't recommend that anyone pattern his life after the NCAA in any respect.

I am fairly certain that we're not asking someone to pattern life after the NCAA here. :)

Anything that happens to me more than 200 miles away from home never really happened, as far as I am concerned. :)

I can't believe we're down to so few so far.  How many are on the undefeated v d3 list right now?  Can we get overall records for those on the lists?
