Please remove Del Val from the list of NO WINS - they beat Penn State Brandywine this afternoon 70 - 55!

Remembered seeing this-- FYI

After rallying to tie the game at 55, Coast Guard was held scoreless by WPI for the final five minutes and 52 seconds.  The Bears fall to WPI, knocking us down to five spotless teams.

At the JP Morgan Chase Scholarship Tournament, second-seeded Geneseo State struggled in the first half against seventh-seeded Roberts Wesleyan but leads at the break.  Earlier at the same site No. 1 (in the tournament and the country) Rochester decimated Keuka 81-37 to stay undefeated.

Pat: I don't recommend that anyone pattern his life after the NCAA in any respect.

I am fairly certain that we're not asking someone to pattern life after the NCAA here. :)

Anything that happens to me more than 200 miles away from home never really happened, as far as I am concerned. :)

So in other words, just within the radius for traveling distance when considering the criteria for organizing NCAA tournament sectionals  :)

Puget Sound is still undefeated against D3...I will take the Undefeated status anyway I can get it!

Geneseo goes 8-for-20 from the free throw line, including two misses with under three seconds left.  The game is in OT with the Blue Knights up by 1.

Assuming this is an Iowa Caucus, those 10.5% of the voters who chose Coast Guard to go undefeated the longest would get to switch their vote to their second choice, or abstain from voting again. I feel we should give these folks another stab at it. Maybe switch their allegiances to Emerson (good choice) or Rochester (iffy choice once League play gets going).

Jeff Howe, who missed the free throws at the end of regulation, gets the put back as time expires.  Geneseo State wins 67-66 in OT and stays on the list.

They get St. John Fisher or Brockport State next.

Denison misses the first of several opportunities to remove itself from the winless list against NCAC bottom-feeders by underscoring Oberlin 75-70 tonight.  :-\

Actually, I think they get Nazareth, which beat RIT tonight.  Rochester gets Brockport, which beat Fisher.  The top 4 seeds all won.

Alma stays winless, losing to visiting Kalamazoo 64-59.

Rockford loses to Benedictine, staying winless.

Blackburn, Macmurray, and Delaware Valley all lose, staying winless vs D3.

So only Coast Guard falls off our lists....  the losers kept on losing..... :-\
The only thing not to be liked in Florida is no D3 hoops!!!

I feel for those teams...its a tough funk to get out of

One winner and 4 losers hit the court tonight..

Undefeated Emerson goes to Lasell, a tough test with Emerson missing a key player as reported.

Winless Albertus Magnus plays St Joe's Maine
Winless Lancaster Bible plays Mt Aloysius
Winless vs D3 North Central (Mn) will stay that way regardless of the outcome as they play Valley Forge Christian - wonder how that one got scheduled (Minnesota vs Pa)
and
this room's long time favorite underdog, winless Maine Presque Isle plays Maine Machias  -  Remember, the Presky's game with Unity is only weeks away - we all should get out our sleighs and reindeer and start heading northeast to see that one!!!!

The only thing not to be liked in Florida is no D3 hoops!!!
