So who's left on the lists?

The last undefeated (UMD) fell yesterday.

As for winless...I believe Rockford and Colorado College are o-fer

And Franciscan, Lancaster Bible, UMPI are still winless vs D3

The only thing not to be liked in Florida is no D3 hoops!!!

Come to think of it, that makes UMPI our first official 'perfect' season team - they finish their season winless vs D3  -  their loan remaining game is against non NCAA D3 Maine Machias though I note that game currently reads cancelled due to extreme weather conditions

Overall UMPI finishes 3-16 if that game is not made up, 0-14 vs D3, losing by an average of 38 points per game to D3 teams.  Remarkably their closest D3 game, a nine point loss, was against Husson, who has a pretty decent record of 14-8, 8-2 in the NAC.  No one wanted to go up to Presque Isle to play - only one D3 team, Maine Maritime, took the trip - UMPI only had 5 home games, and were 3-2 in them!!!!

Their biggest non D3 win was against Unity, by 30 points - poor Unity has finished their season at 0 - 20, and appear to be losing by an average of about 40 points per game, give or take a few

Rockford lost by 36 last night to Wisconsin Lutheran  -

Rockford plays Marantha on Saturday - their best chance at a win

The chances are becoming mighty slim to get that win

Mr. Ypsi

Rockford lost, 98-87.  Looks likely that they clinched an 0-fer.

While they already beat Gallaudet and are not on either list, I had great hopes that Caltech had broken their 24-year conference winless streak.  They took LaVerne to OT, and the guru himself posted on the SCIAC board that they WON, 80-74!  Alas, a short time later he posted that they had reversed the score on their website, then posted that he phoned and confirmed the bad news - the techers lost #63,247 (slight exaggeration) in a row.  Dang!

They are getting close.  You have to give Coach Dow lots of credit.

Colorado College of the SCAC took it on the chin for the 22nd time this season losing to Austin College this past Saturday.  Two chances left to break into the victory column - Friday night at home against Southwestern (TX) and Saturday evening at home against Trinity (TX).  Best shot for a win is probably Friday night.

Ouch...possible, yes...probable, do pigs fly?

Doesn't Colorado College take part in the postseason D3 West Region Independent tournament, along with Nebraska Wesleyan, UC-Santa Cruz, and Chapman? If so, then there's going to be at least one other opportunity for the Tigers to win a game this season -- although it would most likely mean beating NebWes on the home court of the Prairie Wolves, which I don't see happening (to say the least).

Actually, Colorado College is in 6th place in the SCAC-West.

I think that UDallas is the 4th team in the West Region Independents Tournament.

D'oh! I forgot that Colorado College has abandoned the life of an indie and joined a conference this year.

Maybe all this traveling to conference games has just made Col College to road weary :P
