Thanks Magic - seriously, while my good intentions are there, I've found less time to spend on my data base updating scores due to work situation and a home situation  -  your updates are very much appreciated - (But I do update that data every two or three days, so don't screw up, I'm checking!!! ;) ;D ;D ;D).

And by the way, as long as RPI stays in LL contention, I'm an avid reader of that room - so don't feel any of your input goes unappreciated  -  also enjoyed the writeup on Brockport - would love to see that group play.....
The only thing not to be liked in Florida is no D3 hoops!!!

hopefan,
I know you have a lot on your plate and I'm glad to help out. I'll continue with the LL updates, but as you mentioned earlier on the SLIAC board, same problem here, there isn't a lot of people that contribute. I do see that people are checking out the board but not making many comments. Also wonder if the lineup that Brockport puts on the court (both starters and subs) isn't the smallest or one of the smallest in D3 history. I like to see D3Hoops do an article on that facet of the team. Especially because they are winning!!!

Thats crazy, their top 6 scorers are all listed at 6'0" or shorter.  I know teams that dont play anyone that short.

hugenerd,
Go to the SUNYAC board, page 163, reply #2341, and read what I posted about their team. They get killed on the boards, but keep on winning. It's all about playing as a TEAM. I love it.

Good stuff, I disagree with one comment you made though.  I agree they are +10 in turnover margin and +6 in steals, but that does not translate into +16 posessions per game.  The oppositions turnovers already take into account Brockports steals, so they are +10 in posessions due to turnovers and steals.  It is amazing they keep winning with 8 guys 6'0" and under playing the main roles.  I have never heard of anything like that, even in high school.

Damn, that big calculator of yours got me! Thanks, I made the correction.

with age came?

Interesting points about posessions with turnovers & steals.  I'm not even sure on this but do charges show up as turnovers and could you get an extra posession by forcing "jump balls"& always having the arrow end up pointing the other way at the end of the game (meaning that you got the last one?) Truly "the mind reels"?

Methodist falls off the Winless vs D3 list  as they almost hit the century mark and crush Greenboro 98-70 on Friday night.

Caltech and Cazenovia are only ones left with out a victory this year. They are both in action today.
Cazenovia with a shot at a win taking on 4-12 Penn State-Berks.
Caltech's 2nd best chance at a win, of their remaining games, as they take on Whittier (1-5 in the SCIAC)

Alma also with a chance to get off the Winless vs D3 list as they take on 4-14 Kalamazoo today.

hopefan

Thanks Magic   -  so only 3 left on our lists, and all 3 have a chance today...   EXCITING!!!!!!!!

That's why I said, chance at a win. I don't think anyone who knows their history expects a win. Least of all me, as they were my choice to remain winless longer than anyone in the winless pool. And speaking of hammer you sure don't miss an opportunity to HAMMER the Beavers every chance you get! ;)
