Alma comes off the winless vs. D3 list, beating Trine 101-92 in 2 overtimes.

So it's down to Cal Tech.

Isn't that a familiar tale

Well, yes, it's as familiar as the plot in any romantic comedy with Meg Ryan!

With Caltech's loss tonight at La Verne, the Beavers have now lost 300 consecutive SCIAC games going back to 1985.

I would like to take dibbs on Principia in the winless pool for the 2010-2011 season...  They finish the year with 9 players on the roster, 4 of whom are seniors....  if their remaining 5 return, they return 24 points per game and 10 rebounds, and most of that is from 2 players... want to play right away, come to Prin!!!!  Let's hope their recruiting goes well.......

One of the churches that was set ablaze in the recent east Texas church fires was the First Church of Christ, Science, here in Tyler.

Let's hope that Principia can get some recruits

It seems that we were watching Albertus Mangus for winless duty not that long ago, and now they upset William Paterson in the tournament.

Never give up. Don't ever quit.

Hey, so I just found out that Eastern Nazarene is taking an early season trip to Cali with a date set at CalTech.  Someone will come off the board early.

Mr. Ypsi

Seems like kind of a cheap shot at a Nazarene team that won SEVEN games last year. :P  (And has won less than 4 only once in the last 7 years.  They're hardly a powerhouse [in fact, they are basically ba-a-ad], but not really a 'winless' candidate either.)

Don't confuse them with the REAL contenders, like Caltech or the late, lamented, UMPI! :D

UMPI was not lamented. They were well loved on this board.

Honestly, I'm not convinced Caltech is by leaps and bounds worse than any other team in Division III. They just don't have a chance to play others in Club 400.

I've heard nothing about Principia's recruiting, and they do play in one of the weaker D3 conferences in the country, but I'll still take'em....  it will give me a local rooting interest.
