Caltech on a bonafide winning streak now.  Three in a row.

And they beat a team that has already beat 3 teams in their conference.

Break Up The Beavers!!! Though they did lose to PLU today. Still, they lost to the Banana Slugs once but got 'em on the rematch!
Wabash Always Fights!

The Beavers had several games where they barely held off victory, so this was coming.

Blackburn 71  Concordia St Louis 69

eliminates Augie 77 from winless pool

Blackburn off winless list, but still on winless vs D3 list

Poor augie77 ... knocked out of the winless pool because his choice for the ultimate Futile Five beat a team consisting of grad students. What a way to bow out!

If my entry in the undefeated survivor pool, Middlebury, wins tonight they've got a good chance of claiming the crown. Unfortunately since they playing my hometown Plattsburgh Cardinals, I'm hoping they lose. Was hoping to trade them to another player for his team but forgot to see if he was agreeable to a trade. Hate to root against my pick but Cardinals need the win more than I do.

Hey, I'll trade you for IWU if you want! ;D

You wouldn't do that when you should have. :P And now Middlebury, after downing my Plattsburgh State Cardinals tonight 88-82, stands a good chance to go deep into the season undefeated. At least I got to watch a pretty good game live tonight, even if I was rooting against myself.  Middlebury's a very good team. But so isn't Plattsburgh State. We might get another crack at them if both teams make it into the NCAA tournament.

KnightSlappy

After returning home elated that my Knights beat Hope, I was instantly crushed to see that Macalester had defeated St. John's.

Congrats to Mr. Ypsi and the Crown Storm on this year's winless championship.

Mr. Ypsi

The winless contest is now over, but we may need a ruling on whether it is winless or winless vs. d3.  Macalester upset St. John's tonite, but in researching my 'victory' I discovered that Crown beat Sioux Falls (by 35!!) on Sunday (how bad must Sioux Falls be??!! :o)

I believe our rule is winless is winless, so congratulations to KnightSlappy.  I gave you a run, but with Crown approaching Finlandia, Presentation, Martin Luther, etc., your 'win' was probably inevitable - even Crown couldn't lose to ALL those dogs! ;D

I think that Sioux Falls score is reported backwards.

Indeed, Sioux Falls is 11-5:

Mr. Ypsi

Just checked the Crown website - indeed the score was reported backwards on d3hoops.com.

Wahoo - I win!! ;D

With upcoming games against Finlandia (tomorrow), 1-win Presentation (next week), and winless Martin Luther, I don't think I could have kept losing much longer.  Thanks, Johnnies, for disgracing your football team! :D

If it is any consolation, Knightslappy, I suspect the final record of Macalester will be even worse than Crown's! ;)

hopefan

Congrats to the Winner!!!!!

Now I can begin studying for next year!! ;D ;D ;D
The only thing not to be liked in Florida is no D3 hoops!!!
