Point Special - Polytechnic  Next game December 12th at Russell-Sage

I'm sure the team that Polytechnic is playing is not the team from Women's college Russel Sage from Troy, NY (ahhh, the memories), but rather the team from coed Sage College in Albany NY  ;) ;)

Looking at the loser's next games, I'm feeling very good about my standing with Prin... no game to win for almost a month, and 3 others remaining each have a good shot at elimination in their next game.... I may sit back and enjoy a victory... er, ah.. loser's cigar.

Well, my girl friend back in the 60's went to Russell-Sage and so a few brain synapses must have fired up the old memories. When I went to Polytechnic's website (because they apparently never gave their schedule to D3hoops and a blank page is all that shows up) I saw where they were playing "The Sage Colleges". It immediately brought back a few memories, one of which was trying to keep the RPI guys (like you ;)) away from my girl while she was down there and I was at Potsdam. The RPI guys won the battle but I won the war as my new girl friend became my wife and we're still happily married after 39 years. My old girl friend divorced the RPI guy a few years later and has been through 1 or 2 more husbands since. ;D

I predict Prin will win before Millikin.

I dunno. Millikin hung with Wabash for 2/3 of the game. I think they can beat Cornell (IA).

I agree with Smed...  I'm hanging my hat on Cornell, Iowa to ruin Millikin's streak... otherwise, My Prin could be in trouble if we get to January, as Prin COULD be competitive wit a couple of the SLIAC schools.....    However, history shows us thatgoing against the Yjak's prognostications is a dangerous ill advised strategy

Nobody moves off the perfect lists today...
Penn State Berks barely stays winless losing by 2 to Gallaudet 71-69

Medaille stays undefeated and Franciscan winless... Medaille wins 67-39

Several challenges tomorrow 12/12

Undefeated Bethany vs Frostburg
Undefeated Catholic vs Mt Aloysius
Undefeated St Joes LI vs Ramapo

Winless Macalester vs Caltech
Winless Martin Luther vs St Johns Minn

The only thing not to be liked in Florida is no D3 hoops!!!

Unusual position for Caltech to be in.

Yes... they were a regular on this list for many years

KnightSlappy

Caltech 71, Macalester 65

The Scots remain winless. They have two games left on their schedule against (currently winless) St. Mary's (Minn.), but other than that, it will be difficult for them to find a win. They've already lost to Crown and Caltech.

(You haven't lived until you've watched Caltech vs. Macalester on live video)

smedindy

They could sneak up on Hamline.

Though I doubt if they will stop their streak their next game. They face River Falls. Ooperdy!  :o
