Games today involving teams on our lists:
Undefeated vs D3:

Hope hosts Indiana Wesleyan  8 PM
Nebraska Wesleyan at Westminster (Mo.)  5 PM

Indiana Wesleyan is NAIA, so this game can't knock Hope off the list.

Picky, picky, picky! I never said it would knock them off the list, merely that they were playing today. ;)
This is what happens when people become the Dean of a college. ;D

I never said that you said it would knock them off the list, merely that their game today wouldn't.  ;)

So who's really the picky one?  ;D
I left you that opening on purpose just to see if you'd take advantage of it. Glad that you didn't disappoint me! I figured that's what a Dean would do. ;D

The only thing not to be liked in Florida is no D3 hoops!!!

Magic... you were a busy man last night!!!!!
Quick hit contest for our fans

Which team will fall off our list today?

I'll go with Nebraska Wesleyan, Hoping for a SLIAC upset...

I'm hoping that Hamilton and one of my favorite coaches can pull off the upset at NYU so I'll take the Continentals, who are 9 point underdogs, to come away with a 68-66 win.

Hugenerd

I wouldn't consider NYU the favorite, I like Hamilton's chances.

Massey has predicted a 68-59 NYU win.  augie_superfan 's rating system has NYU favored by 9. Hence, the favorite tag that I applied to NYU.

Mr. Ypsi

Neb Wes did indeed fall to Westminster, 71-69.  Probably good bye to Pool B, is Neb Wes was considering going that route.

Ill have agree with you now that NYU is up 23 at the half.

In other news, Cabrini loses to Centre and falls off the undefeated list.

Middlebury holds on by 3 against Salem State, in a very close game that saw several lead changes over the final 10 minutes.

NYU just crushes Hamilton right from the git-go. Violets open up with a 13-0  start and extend the margin to 29-10 with 8:24 to play in the half. The lead only grows larger and it's 45-22 at the break. 2nd verse same as the first. NYU scores the first 10 points of the 2nd period and now has a 33 point lead that grew to 42 on several occasions. Final score was 83-46. Hamilton couldn't hit the proverbial barn part and the Violets were hotter than a pistol. NYU hit their first 2 shots of the game from 3 point land which was a sign of things to come. Violets ended up going 11 of 18 from beyond the arc (61%) and ended up 28x48 from the field.

NYU moves to 7-0 and will host Clarkson on Jan.2nd.

FCGrizz and I both lamented having overlooked them only about 8 days into the competition.  Despite some serious rivals (there may be 3-4 winless teams this year), I'd say they are probably an 'excellent' pick
