Muhlenberg- F&M score is NOT correct, that was the women's score. Actual score is F&M 87- Muhls 55 in what was Dips best game of the year.

BTW, I saw on another board that our old friend from the 'winless' tourney, UMPI, has a 7'6" freshman!  At that height in (sort of) d3, I'm guessing he has trouble walking, much less doing it while chewing gum!   Anyone know anything about the kid?

I kinda thought F & M was living on borrowed time, but I didn't think they'd lose AT HOME.  (Glad I didn't have that game on Pickems, 'cause I definitely would have lost. )

Also, earlier this year I picked the wrong conference foe to back for winless.  The mighty University of New England men's basketball team has, in its previous two games, held opponents to less than 30% shooting (less than 10% from three) and forced an average of 23 turnovers... and lost both games by double digits to less than stellar opponents.

This team is right up there with the worst d3 squads ever.

But I know the coach from his tenure at Wabash as Mac Petty's assistant. He's a good guy and was successful in the past there. Must be just a weird year.

And they're not even the worst this year -396 out of 412 right now.

Thanks.  I missed that possibility - I hit 'roster' for the second link, but no heights or weights listed.   So he is indeed listed as 7'6".

(Of course, I remember when EMU's Earl Boykins was listed as 5'8", then 5'7", then 5'5" - and even that is questioned by many.  As the coach said: "Until he proved how good he was, you think I'm gonna risk my career admitting I recruited a midget!" )

Franklin & Marshall stays undefeated as the beat Muhlenberg 87-55.  This game was initially reported as a 62-54 F&M loss but that was the score of the women's game.

Polytechnic stays winless as they lose to Sage 62-59
Principia stays winless as they lose to Westminster (Mo) 74-54

University of New England's game against Curry was postponed
Marantha Baptist's game against Concordia (Wis) was postponed
