Thanks City... I owe it all to NY Poly not calling it quits and getting a win!!!   and yes, back when Poly was known as Brooklyn Poly, hopefan had double figures for RPI in a win down in Brooklyn under the old bubble... circa 1969 or 70.....

How soon they forget all the little people who got them there once they've seen their names up in lights on Broadway.

Can I get lucky tonight like hopefan. Whittier leading CMS in overtime 88-85 with 9 seconds left.

magicman

Yes I can as Whittier takes down Claremont-Mudd-Scripps 88-85 in overtime.

So now with the contest portion of the contest over, we can get down to some serious tracking of the progress of the winners, but especially the losers, as we hope they become winners.

of the winless 6, I'd say prior scores show   Berry (lost at Covenant by 3, have them at home), and Martin Luther (Crown twice, Northland and Presentation are all opportunities for wins) have the best shots at wins...

Elmira has it a little tougher... They just had close losses to both Utica and Ithaca and has them both at home

Earlham is similar....lost very close AT Defiance and Bluffton, have them both at home

Hard to say where Prin might find a win... Blackburn and Fontbonne are the next two teams in the standings of the SLIAC, and both handled Prin easily at Prin, but Prin could play with either on a good night..... Prin has non conference games left at Lindenwood Belleville and Lincoln Christian..... either is a possible chance, but doubtful

And Franciscan... well...they've lost double digits to every D3 team they've played...mid teens to D'youville, PSU-Altoona, Pitt-Greensburg... and they play each again.... but it looks pretty dismal

For the undefeated, the team I picked (Hope) is still in the race (against D3).  I know that was not originally part of the contest.  So I challenge magicman to a double or nothing (both are the same in this case) Undefeated Against D3 contest - to continue the competition just a litlle longer???
