So, yeah, I'm now rooting for all the winless teams.  In fact, if Earlham or Franciscan played my Titans, I think I'd actually root for the other guys (as humiliating as that would be).
I'm quite happy my Grizzlies have made it through their 2 games with Earlham for the year and won't be the ones to fall to the Quakers.

If PointSpecial believes that, then I've got a bridge in Brooklyn I'd like to sell him! ???

Oh all right - I went a bit too far!  I NEVER root against my Titans.  But out of sympathy, I would mourn less than if they lost to a 4-19 team! 8-)
I can accept that. But then you'd have to read the disparaging posts from Titan Q, iwu70, and Greg, ripping the Titans for losing to a 4-19 team. ;D And if it was a winless team it would be even worse!!

You apparently don't read CCIW Chat much, Mr. Prestidigitator. Yes, Titan Q would tell it like it is and give us a terse three-sentence summary of how awful his alma mater's team looked in losing to a 4-19 team. But iwu70? The words "ripping the Titans" are definitely not in his vocabulary. Instead, he'd talk about the IWU women's team's victory that day ... or bring up some IWU flashback from the Nixon administration ... or give us one of his classic five-paragraph synopses of the glories of the IWU junior varsity. ;)

He doesn't drink the green kool-ade. He filled his pool with it and swims in it. ;)

It's midnite, I'm just back in town from watching Middlebury manhandle my Cardinals, ( although they hung in there for about 30 minutes) and I'm just reading your post. You are so correct, especially about iwu70. I've been laughing for 3 solid minutes. Plus k.

And I read the CCIW Chat daily. How else would I know that A.  you're a "Posting Legend" and B.  Butterscotch pudding was served on board the Titanic the night it went down. ;D

Earlham nearly gets off the winless list leading Bluffton by 12 at halftime and by 16 with less than 11 minutes left. Bluffton takes the lead with 17 seconds left but Earlham scores with 7 seconds left to lead by 1. Bluffton gets the basket with a second left and hold off the Quakers 73-72.

One of the added players is Stanley Beal... he started last year and is a pretty decent player... he's averaged about 10 points a game since his return, but it hasn't been enough to come close to a win for Prin....

Poster Rust College was busy celebrating his Ladies' Rust win over Berry, 48-44, and trying to figure out how to improve on their 8-12 record.... when I spoke to him in December, he was the Ladies' head coach....

Rust men's decline has surprised me... lots of athleticism, but some consistently poor decision making and fundamentals....

Yes, and I'm the one guy (at least the first one for sure)  who picked them :)
