HCAC still has one on each list... 6-0 Defiance and 0-9 Anderson don't play until Jan 8. Defiance has 5 games before then, Anderson just 2.
Does any other conference have multiple teams with a 0 in their record?

Guilford and VA Wesleyan are both undefeated.  I assume they play each other soon.

Guilford & VWC play each other on January 18th. Both teams have lots of opportunities to lose a game between now and then.

2 others fall into the category of having multiple teams 'perfect' to date

In New England, the NECC has THREE teams still with a 0 in their record:
Daniel Webster  8-0
Newbury 0-9
Wheelock  0-7

and my old stomping grounds, the President's AC
Bethany  6-0
Westminster (Pa.)  0-7     Tough to see Westminster at a low point.. such a great Basketball history.... Buzz Ridl was a good friend when we both worked at Pitt, he as head Basketball Coach, me as a young Admissions officer right out of college.... inside access to a nationally ranked team led by All American Billy Knight was one of the big thrills of my life...

Last year I went to see (at the time) winless Washington College host undefeated Franklin & Marshall.  Not only did I predict the upset pre-game, I got to see it myself.  One of the more enjoyable d3 basketball experiences as the WC boys sprinted out of the gym at the whistle to ring the giant bell outside the building (I assume they only ring it when they win).

Thought I would put out the first listing of 'Perfect vs D3 only'...  this always confuses someone, so think of what this list is... these are teams NOT on our perfect list.. teams that have not lost to a D3 team, but have a loss elsewhere;  teams that have not beaten a D3 team, but have a win elsewhere..

Undefeated vs D3, but with a loss elsewhere:

George Fox  3-0   5-1
Colorado College  4-0  5-1
University of Dallas  4-0  5-1
MacMurray  4-0   5-2     Watch out, Augustana tonight
Franklin  5-0    5-2
Lewis and Clark  2-0   4-2

Winless vs d3, but with a win elsewhere

Worcester State  0-9    1-9
Maine Maritime  0-5  1-8
Simpson   0-5  1-7
SUNY Cobleskill  0-7   1-7
Eureka    0-5   1-6
Adrian   0-4   1-6
Potsdam State   0-6   1-6
Gallaudet   0-6    1-6
Iowa Wesleyan   0-3   1-5
Northland   0-2   1-5
Maranatha Baptist    0-2     1-5
Willamette   0-3   1-4

Greek Tragedy

If you didn't notice, the 3 teams remaining are the top 3 in the Top 25 poll: Amherst, Stevens Point and Wooster.

After checking the upcoming schedules, to say they don't favor Stevens Point would be an understatement.

Point opens conference play next weekend at Eau Claire and then hosts Whitewater on Dec.11. From there to New Year's, they play at St. John's, St. Thomas, Whitworth and Whitman in Las Vegas and then at North Central. Meanwhile, Amherst plays at Brandeis on the 10th and at Babson on the 12th. Then the Lord Jeffs are off until the New Year! Go Brandeis!

Never really looked into Wooster's schedule. They play out West Monday and Tuesday against two NAIA teams. Westmont is 8-2. The made the NAIA tourney last year after going 25-8. On Tuesday Wooster plays Arizona Christian. They went from preseason #16 to 6 in the first regular season poll (D3 takes notes?). They beat 2 NCAA DII opponents, NAIA #16 Montana St.-Northern and NAIA 2 #10 St. Xavier. And I thought Stevens Point had a tough holiday schedule!
