I like that one, Chuck. I'm going to use it on myself when the occasion for some self-deprecation in the face of a forgetful moment arises.

Yeah, somehow my ENC Lions made it through Colby and UMass-Boston, completing their entire non-conference schedule at 7-0.  It was the 367th toughest schedule (but more difficult than Amherst's), but I'm still surprised to be alive at this point.

Massey currently has provisional Alfred State dead last, today they lost to one time o-fer the season champion Franciscan 64-59.  Amazingly the Pioneers are shooting 52% from the floor and are 0-7.  Defensively they are allowing opponents to shoot 58.9% against them

I should have went with my Grizzlies for the winless... they're sitting at 0-5... good news is they're in a conference that is a combined 12-30 so far including 0-4 Earlham (not a shock) and 0-3 Transylvania (more of a shock). Plus Anderson is 1-3 with a win over IL Tech.

Alfred State's ears must have been burning over this post from sac. The Pioneers who were 0-22 last season as a 1st year provisional and were 0-7 this year at the time of sac's post, promptly proceeded to go out and upset Wells College by a 77-76 final score. The win boosted the Pioneers from the very bottom of Mr.Massey's rankings and vaulted them past the new cellar dweller Sarah Lawrence, as well as Green Mountain, and Maine no hyphen Maritime.

For Wells it was the double Alfred whammy as they had previously lost to Alfred U. The Express are winless on the year at 0-4 and are now only 4 spots higher than Alfred State in the Massey Rankings.

7express

I don't think anyone had MIT in the undefeated pool anyway, but the engineers go down at home to the UMass-Boston Beacons, the same Beacons that finished last season 6-18 overall and 0-14 in the LEC.  Will likely end up being one of the top 5 upsets of the season.

Could you say that it wasn't an ideal performance, that they were out of equilibrium?

I went through the conference standings for every conference and here's all the teams with a 0 in either the win or loss column. This doesn't include anyone who may be on the unbeaten/winless vs D3 lists though. And yes St Mary's (MN) is still on both lists.

I see you altered my post... but you messed up. Brandeis did lose... as they've done every other game this year. That's why they were on the Winless list and remain there. ::)

Just for the record, I didn't alter the post.  Someone else did.  I think only Hall of Famers can do that sort of thing.  I can merge topics, though, if you ever need that done.

Yeah, it was that scandalous sneaky scoundrel sac that did it. I've fixed his flummoxing flub fastidiously.
