I say Ramapo goes down by December 10th at the latest, that is the first game against NJCU in Jersey City.

Picking an NJAC team to run the table is like picking a WIAC, CCIW or OAC team to run the table.  Very difficult to do because the conference is too competitive most years for an undefeated season.

Illinois Wesleyan's my pick, despite a really difficult pre-conference schedule.

Must stay in conference and go with Amherst.  Wish I could take my Bobcats, but not enough depth.  Maybe get to holiday tourney and Trinity (Tx) undefeated, but not much farther

I agree, and under normal circumstances I'd eschew an NJAC, WIAC, CCIW, or OAC team as my pick in a Survivor Pool in favor of a bully-amidst-the-nerds sort of team such as St. John Fisher. But I made my choice of Wisconsin-Whitewater based upon my gut feeling that nobody in D3 is going to make it through the regular season unscathed, not even a cupcake-muncher like St. John Fisher (which, although it plays in a weak league, has a very tough non-conference matchup with Baldwin-Wallace in their Friday night opener and a possible date with Randolph-Macon looming in the title game of Randy-Mac's tourney on December 19).

With that in mind, I took UWW because: a) they have a very good squad; b) their non-conference slate is very winnable; and c) the really tough portion of their WIAC double round-robin doesn't come until late in the season. I see their first big test coming on January 11 when the Warhawks have to travel to Platteville, and that'll be UWW's thirteenth game of the season.

The only game before then that worries me even a little bit is the road game at UW-LaCrosse on Nov. 30. Still, I expect the Warhawks to be able to handle that one.
