Has anyone pointed out that Summit is just Baptist Bible's new name? No, I didn't think so.

David Collinge

Slappy, I love you. Don't ever change (unlike Baptist Bible.)

Lots of over the head humor here I suppose  :P

Even though I was the first person that selected Cairn, I feel cheated having it picked multiple times so I'll change that with a team TBD.

I actually just realized Cairn has Wilson at home to start the season.  I don't want them anymore.

Nice gesture, but YOU shouldn't have to change... several suggested strongly at the start of the contest that there should not be dupes, but Hoopsfan chose dupes for both his picks... he should have to change...

I don't consider myself "in" the contest.  I merely make my picks.  I don't see any reason why I would pick a team other than the one I actually think will be undefeated longest just to be in a contest.  I think Whitworth may very well enter the tournament undefeated.  I also think Eastern Connecticut is good enough to win all their games.

As for the winless, since Cairn looks to be the favorite in their opener, I'll pick Maine Maritime.

It's very, very mild; it is to humor what Coors Light is to beer. If it's actual, measurable humor you seek, I recommend Just Bill and the Championship Belt room. Unlikely to ever see a reference to Dear Old Summit U. in there.

I'm quite to blame though, as I was the one who picked Summit to begin with!

I'll take Ohio Wesleyan in both contests.

I'll grant myself a Mulligan since I used to play on Summit's grounds way back when it was Venard Maryknoll Seminary.  ;D

You are aware this page was around LOOOOOONG before there was a contest, right?

This page existed long before there was any contest associated with it.

Remember, all you campers out there who are still looking to pick a winless team, that up until three years ago Cairn was called Philadelphia Bible. Say, is anybody aware of any other former Bible colleges that have recently changed their name?

Summit from Baptist Bible and Cairn from Philly Bible were mentioned

I'm aware of one other D3 school that used to be a Bible College....   Crown College was St. Paul's Bible... but that was back pretty long ago... changed in early 90's.

Another school that D3's used to play, Washington Bible, went under and was purchased by Lancaster Bible...

Finally, Roanoke Bible, who would play some of the ODAC or USAC schools, changed over to Mid Atlantic Christian....

Curious if I've missed an obvious one...
